Because expecting Horde to transfer to the Alliance side is a dumb idea that nobody is going to willingly partake in. Its like telling you that you can’t play your warlock and making you roll a tank to solve the tank shortage.

could quit wasting time doing random bgs for resil gear that you don’t need and go fight other no resil having people in arena, which puts you against horde and ally both. just sayin.
edit: the arena gear will be better than the bg gear, and you will have no queues at all. you’ll just be fighting people who are good at the game.
Would horde really not faction swap to alliance if free transfers were offered? Based on many of the positive feedback posts from horde about the insta queues, you’d think these players would be chomping at the bit to swing alliance for the queue times.
Lol, never thought I’d get to share my own perspective into this but I think you’re wrong with there being a Horde advantage in AV, of all places.
Let’s start with the bottleneck at the alliance base that you have to get over the bridge while The Horde have two entry points to get into their base.
Also the Horde towers can be capped without fear of NPC arrows hitting them.
I believe there is also an alliance bottleneck right after the second tower as you go down that slope. Whereas right past Galv, yet another split and bypass.
Now let’s talk about tactics, I’ve been mostly Horde my WoW career. And it never fails, the lions always reach our base first while we’re still jacking around past the second tower to the GY before the bridge.

You have never played at a high level, which is what you’re resorting to excuses on why you’re failing.
You perceive it as an issue that’s out of your hands but in reality. the only issue is that you aren’t as good as you think you are.

Good. My alliance queue times were lowered in the 60-69 bracket during HvH weekend. I even got a fun A v A game.
Confused on how alliance where gate keeping pvp… this made me laugh. Blame blizzard for putting in boosts swelling your numbers with sweaty neckbeards who can’t do anything with out a streamer or online guide telling them what to do. Blizzard are the gatekeepers not the alliance
I’m glad to see a lot of people in here and in other threads worried about how weird and world-breaking horde v horde would be. Let’s be constructive. Let’s fix queue times and faction balance without turning the classic world into a speedily gratifying lobby game like everything else out there.
I’m gonna go around preaching my proposed solution until I see a better one. This is obviously an ambitious solution whereas the strengths of horde v horde are how robust and obviously simple to implement it is, so I’m open to new ideas and suggestions. Anyways I’ll quote my proposed solution below:
I also think it would be cool because it would draw world pvp to the old world and the neutral cities where mercs would queue, would have exciting fights between traitors, horde, alliance, and goblin bruisers, and would have that classic feel since there would be world pvp without flying mounts.
I finished my honor farm already, so i don’t care. I’m slowly leveling my new horde main tho. I hope they keep the hvh thing as we all know blizzard will do NOTHING about faction balance.
A much lower percentage of them queue for BGs making Horde queue times longer.
I like it, no complaints from me. It would be a “change” but a more unique one that is actually pretty cool.
I could actually see a lot of players having fun being a traitor in world pvp for a day as well. I know there’s a few AH Dbags I wouldn’t mind camping.
