Alliance need the Broken as a race.
They have already been a part of the faction since Burning Crusade, and were the primary representatives of the Alliance in the Earthern Ring.
And, unlike Lightforged, they actually would be totally justified as a brand new race and not customization option, because their class options would be different - they’re cut off from the Light, which means no Paladins or Priest, but you could justifiably give them Rogues, Warlocks, and Demon Hunters… and maybe Druid, though the last one is a bit iffy since it was a singular instance.
The problem with the Alliance is that they keep getting races with no prior build up out of nowhere.
Night Elves (Jaina’s humans were more allied with Thrall’s Horde than the Night Elves in WC3, think about THAT), Draenei (retcon into existence), Worgen, Pandaren (cough Chen being Horde leaning), Lemon Draenei that didn’t exist before 7.3, made up elves… in fact, Dark Irons are the first Alliance race that made complete and total sense since… well, before WoW launched.

So are vulpera… did there cuteness give you a false sense of security? Did you see all those foxtails? they are cannibals.
I think if alliance got a cute race the one that would make most sense to me are the night fae fairies. That or murlocks are the only thing that come to mind.

Horde is in real need of another monstruos race, like ogres.

Hold on a second, Tauren are really cute. Have you seem them dance? have you seen how sad they look when they die? Way more adorable than the babyfur fox race.
I’m cool with this. In exchange, I’d like the Horde to recieve another monstrous race to keep things fair.
Mogu, Ogres, Man’ari (Eradar) or some Lizardman (similar to Saurok) would be great.

Horde can get ogres so that way both sides get their main races ancestors (big viking humans and big Roman Empire orcs (note in a note have you seen some of the draenor ogre armor!?! It’s atleast Roman inspired))

Vulpera aren’t our “allies” they are just portable sacks of meat and fur.
This! I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion, but I reaaaally don’t want them as an AR.
We already have Mechagnomes what more do we need?
