seems like every leveling zone is full of people now 
just FYI if you’re looking for a nice classic era restart. you will find tons of leveling groups. people must be really getting bored of TBC and all the other ridiculous WoW modes being offered.

reading between the lines of “WoW news”, it’s a number of things:
- Retail has lost “it” (my category)
- Turtle WoW loss… other servers
- Classic+ rumblings
etc,etc
I have been leveling a rogue since last week and almost 44. I am having so much fun, and i just don’t get the same feeling from retail, i haven’t touched retail AT ALL LOL

Mankrik also has scheduled world buffs with a very organized discord for them, makes getting world buffs 1000000x easier. Multiple times a day I should add so it suits almost every play style.

I just started Mankrik Horde. Not super busy but not quiet either. Feels good

You guys need more horde so badly, there are so few there, Whitemane is more or less sensibly balanced, it’s swapped back and forth, example in June 2023 Horde were the majority faction on Whitemane by like 1.5X-ish. (actual population), not something you will likley find on the WCL / IF-Pro sites because those only record logs, but right now I think its like 55% allies now, but it moves back and forth a bit over time.
Mankrik cluster is pve so it tracks that Horde is the less numerous faction as generally happens with pve. It’s what it is.
Of course there is pvp interest (actually should say bg interest) but not living it outside the instance. Ok ok save those chosen few.

There are a few PvP’rs mrom mankirk cluster that are very effective and skilled. I distinguish the two different because effective players win games, skilled players are good at class mechanics like murdering and healing.
I transferred to Mankrik after dying in HC, alliance population is decent, horde could use a boost though, therefore all my classic toons including horde will be here

I discovered an interesting metric for “server health”: the cost of light feathers priests always need em but you typically only find them on low level mobs. So if light feathers cost a lot, nobody is leveling. On Mankrik they have definitely crashed and now sell for like 10-20s. I used to be able to fleece priests for big 1g+ prices.
Hah, yeah I noticed this on my low-level Horde guy on Mankrik. I had a stack of Light Feathers, and was surprised how low the price was.
On Alliance side, where my higher-level toons are, I’ve definitely noticed an influx of newcomers and returnee lately. Of course, Era’s active population will always ebb and flow, but it’s cool to see players discover or re-discover the joy.

I’ve begun leveling a horde toon on Mankrik, Its quiet but I still see people everywhere, in cities, leveling zones etc. Low level dungeon groups form and while sparse, it’s all around pretty good
