That would solve nothing
Well, they did do that, but horde cried and blizz gave in faster than they nerfed did racial xD.
When I started wow ages ago I WANTED to go alliance originally but my friend who I joined this to hang out with more (He worked a lot so we didnât have many chances) wanted horde so I went with that. Now I find myself having difficulty sticking with Alliance side I just prefer horde the story on horde and feel is much betterâŠI will admit I do enjoy the story in I think dark shore? Alliance side but everything else just feels off to me alliance side. Iâve been trying to level least ONE alliance up and unlock the allied races there but have been having difficulty staying interested.
Who knows? but itâs a forward attempt at tackling the issue.
Too late for that, the problem now is almost all the competitive player base has already relocated to the Horde side. So if you are an Alliance player that wants to play high end PvP/PvE content, you are far better off as Horde.
Iâm a pretty big opponent to giving High Elf customizations to Void Elves because I believe in racial identity, but out of curiosity, I wonder if that would help save the Alliance.
Heroic raiding and M+ up to 20
No, Alliance isnât âdyingâ. Come to Moon Guard or other populated servers, and Alliance is massive.
Game started out massively in Alliance favor. The fewer pvp crowd went in favor of Horde. Alliance had a big advantage in raids early on due to having paladin vs. shaman. Alliance had numbers and racials on their side for pve.
Horde had pvp racials, more dedicated pvpers and fast queue times which with no cross realm made you play with the same people over and over again. Horde developed team strategies in battlegrounds because you played with the same people. So they won more over and over. Alliance started to give up and basically didnât care anymore.
Blood elves went to the horde and more people started going over to Horde. Getting paladins made horde raids a lot easier. Eventually Alliance lost their pve advantage but horde still kept their pvp advantage. Alliance started losing their âprettyâ race faction, and eventually there was no reason to roll Alliance anymore. Horde guild start dominating the raid scene.
Horde keeps pvp advantage, eventually people who want to hardcore raid / pvp jump ship to Horde then it snowballs from there.
Just a theory but seems like thatâs what happened to me shrug
They have done nothing?
- Alliance wins every war. They come in to âsaveâ the horde every expansion.
- Void elves as a race were forcefully pulled out of some writer @ss.
- Void elves getting almost all customizations to become a Blood elf.
- Sylvanas, Voljin, Garrosh, Sadfang, Nathanos were killed or taken off the horde.
- Alliance puppets installed in the horde Baine, Calia. And Thrall is an alliance sympathizer. The horde is puppet for the Alliance.
- Nightelves retrieved all their lands lost duing BFA.
- Free Loot dropping from the sky for the Alliance during BFA.
- Overpowered Alliance heroes.

Alliance isnât dying you drama queen.
Do you want to play on the girl scout troop, or the evil weirdoâsâŠwhich one of those do you think will be most popular?
Any time you have a system with a stylistic choice, one will inherently be more popular. Asking Blizzard to balance that is pretty much impossible. Any small perceived advantage on one side or the other, will lead to an imbalance.
If I see racial brought up one more time (not by you, others in the thread), Iâm going to start punching kittens randomly. Alliance has amazing racials, the humans still being the best in game. Given how many rep grinds there are in this game, if that was ALL they had, it would still be the most valuable, but a free trinket to boot?
I have every class at 50 on both factions, and I will say, that by and large, Alliance have a much higher percentage of pearl clutchers, and victim mentality issues.
I just donât get people who have 100% free choice, on what they want to play, complaining about being stuck with a faction as if they were chained to their desk and forced to play it.
I also donât buy the argument, that there are so few Alliance that doing content is hard, especially when it comes to PvE. Alliance tend to be very PvE centric.
Combat related racials, sure.

I really do not like the Horde. But I like undead. So all of my characters are Alliance except for this one.
And no, Iâm not a Sylvanas fan. I just like undead, and the whole âwe were once Alliance and died, and were brought back, and now the Alliance hates usâ thing.
But aside of keeping this one character to play through the Horde story and do Horde stuff, Iâm Alliance through and through.
I seen my entire guild either quit or go horde it has driven me into casual player mode to the point i log in do my routine and then go play another game, i could never see myself playing horde, Nothing of the horde appeals to me so i know how you feel,
I do believe there were missed opportunity by the devs, to help the Alliance become more active but they had no reason or seemed to care about it, like said above itâs about the money, More Balanced racials forgotten opportunity, and the ARs well letâs say they were a joke for the Alliance, the using the Alliance to sell the horde was really creepy, devs never cared what the Alliance was thinking on those. Just my 2 cents.
i mean they buffed horde racials after WotLK to make them more appealing because they had the issue alliance is having now.
if they can do it once, why not again?
Does this mean the Horde wins?
Not really means game loses, when people donât like what they are playing.
