You’re a reasonable person so I don’t doubt your honesty that you personally had no problem with it but plenty of whining came from the horde. Especially the bee mount (which you can have, I see no real reason to keep it one faction only)
Nobody minded Alliance having the bee mount, they just wanted it to be usable on Horde characters once it was farmed as Alliance, just like how Kuafon works the other way around.
I would have no problem with that but I am sure alliance players sick of horse reskins saw it as an opportunity to gloat for a change. Can hardly blame them even if it’s immature
I’m disagreeing that there’s a constant onslaught of people asking for factions to be removed or want them to play together. On the forums, I’m sure those people are outspoken. But in-game, I think those numbers are very different. Your statement was rather clear, I’m not sure how I could have misread it? Having a different opinion to someone doesn’t mean you are being a contrarian. If people agree with your comment, they can give you a little heart. If people disagree all they can do is respond shrugs
I continue to maintain that the horse mount from Stormsong should have had an octopus head. Like everything else in Stormsong.
What do the Horde not want you to have? I seriously can’t think of anything except maybe not reskinned blood elves, which you got so not sure what the issue is.

If horde players were totally chill about the Alliance asking for things we wouldn’t see the thread become this long argument every time
We’d just see an attempt to form a bridge knowing that two healthy factions are great for the game.
if players that want to play horde simply because they love it more? Then a temporary tilting to alliance on power and story won’t hurt you because all your true horde strong and frees wouldn’t budge and the greener grassers bolting would be no loss to you
Perhaps I missed it, I haven’t read this whole thread but from what I see in all these posts is the same thing. Asking blizz to fix something but offering no way to do so. Because there is nothing to be done.
Better racials arent enough. Better rewards arent enough. Better story (can be debatable) not enough. As far as I can tell they won BFA in every battle except the tree one.
All the Horde in this thread have done is tell you nothing can be done on blizz end, its up to the Alliance as a community. That doesn’t mean they want you to fail, just the hard truth.
because the solutions would be a temporary massive power imbalance and the horde players don’t want to allow that.
Solutions have been offered but it requires a bit of sacrifice and that’s asking too much for some
Like you write this while the BFA Nelves were pretty much ignored watching beautiful CGI’s of Saurfang helping horde players feel better about the war.
Nothing in the game give alliance a fist bump. Even Tyrande killing Nathanos was lame because he got to be all “my plan all along” crap.
They can save the Alliance by giving more High Elf Options and Features to Void Elves and then people would be happy. Also to add top of Night Elf Paladins, Void Elf Paladins, Kul’tiran Paladins, Broken Draenei, and etc.
The Alliance will be saved.
Transfer to a high pop Alliance realm like Sargeras, or I think that is one of them.
Temp boost in power? Like… just giving a flat damage bonus to every Alliance character? i doubt that would make any lasting change and just seems… insulting to Alliance personally.
And I cant speak for all Horde, but there were zero fist bumps moments in BFA. Saurfang comes in saying nice things I guess… but then we also watch the leader we’ve been forced to follow the whole expac kill him. We lost both ways.

The Gilneas starting experience was a good example of how the Alliance could be interesting if they made better writing decisions…unfortunately the Gilneans didn’t get any meaningful content after that zone. & I’m still scratching my head over how Blizz destroyed the lore of the most interesting race (Nelves). Giving the Nelves some meaningful content and some new territory would be a good start.
I left the game because of this.
If they ever try to solve the faction imbalance, I’ll resub, but nerfing dwarf racials after some guilds went alliance to do raid progress was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Ban me from this forum already.
Well that wouldnt make sense seeing as the biggest WoW streamer plays Alliance.
