Inless blizzard builds a way to wipe out hordes players minds now with a device there is nothing they can do about it.
Thank you for so admirably proving my point.
There are too many things about the Horde that I dislike for me to ever main them again. I canât stand their architecture, their savage clothing and style, their moral ambiguity when it comes to faction members, their massive (almost pathetic) lack of leadership (even Thrall was a horrible leader, since he was basically directly responsible for the three successive Warchiefs after him. If you refuse to step up and let less competent people rule over you, the onus for what they do is on you, bub).
How bad is it? I was debating on moving to WRA or MG with the ladder winning because I hate always being the ones to outnumber the other side. I also like to do some wpvp and mainly just trying to push mythic keys instead of mythic raids.
Vulpera were another nail, but alliance isnât dead yet.
They actually need to make sure alliance racials are superior until factions are more balanced. And we need some good alliance ARs in the future.
Youâre kinda right. But I think thatâs due to the races of the Alliance being boring, but thatâs to me personally. The only Alliance alts. I have are Worgen, mainly because thatâs the only race I find interesting.
Volâjin was great. and Thrall had nothing to do with Picking Sylvanas.
By all means, itâd be great to remove one of the many excuses Alliance use when they lose.
Are you kidding me. The Alliance is not dying, just the people you know have decided to move. The Alliance is teeming with annoying players wanting to RP in goldshire. The horde really does not have this kind of thing going on, it is weird. Whenever I go anywhere on Azeroth, there are always a bunch of Alliance standing around.
I donât either.
Once nobody plays the Alliance, theyâll just make the entire game 1 faction. Easier for them, easier to balance, easier to please the playerbase if you donât have to design for two sides all the time.
The faction divide is a bad system and always has been, If it makes the game so unplayable that they abandon the divide entirely, Iâm down.
The in Belfies in Slivermoon can be as bad, but they generally have the decorum to keep it all in private chats where you not only have to go to a dead city to see it you have to get an invite.
Ugg, I hate people who say this. it is NOT a âplayer made issueâ Every single thing the Devâs do has an impact on population. If they make one side appear to be the favorite, then it will draw more attention and people to it.
Yes, the players do have a choice, but do not try and remove all culpability from the Devâs, they designed one faction to be more popular.
And Iâve used this example before, but back in Vanilla Alliance was around 70% of the population, so the Devâs added an alliance thematic to the horde to draw alliance players over onto the horde. it worked, they have done and are fully capable of manipulating the faction balance.
That would take years and at the end
They would have to remove racials altogether because they wouldnât be able to perfectly balance them OR make racials a customization decision and not actually racials anymore. To clarify I mean, give players the option to choose whatever racial they want for their character.
That is subjective. Is it mythic raiding level? No but thatâs not why I play either.
theyâd need to buff the crap out of Alliance racials (and hope people transfer ) and then remove them a patch later for that to even work and people would be pissed off lol
Or remove and offer free faction changes for a certain time from horde to alliance I guess
Cross-faction dungeons and raids seem like the easiest fix to me.
World content and PvP remains faction locked while all the important stuff becomes more flexible.
Itâs literally a player made issue. With the examples I mentioned before racials are within 2% diff from eachother, AND there are places out in the world that are still alliance dominated. Itâs only here and Europe if Iâm not mistaken that are Horde dominated. So tell me, if not for the players why is that the case? It is literally peoples preferences.
You can blame blizz for it if you want too but I dont buy it. If a top end guild went horde for not even a full 1% dps diff to try and down a boss faster, that didnt make the whole playerbase go as well. They went on their own for whatever reason that may be.
The horde as it stands for the US just has the better community down and its causing a trickle effect making more people leave. Itâs as simple as that. For you guys to demand blizz to purposefully make one side stronger in HOPES it will make people go there will only make the other side complain.
This is entierly false as most players these days do infact play both factions, the community is mostly the same people on either side.
Racials and mechanics are not the issue atall, most players arnât even close to a level where that 1% makes any difference atall. Itâs about how appealing that faction sees to the masses.
And when Devâs are outright saying âwe all like hoprde and thats what we playâ while wearing horde T-shirts and giving us badass Horde cinematics, it all has an impact, then you add in things like giving horde Vulpera, a race that was clearly going to draw in a lot of people and balance it with mechagnomes, a very unpopular race on the alliance and the Devâs are activly pushing people towards Horde.
Making one side stronger is not the answer, because that only affects the top end players anyway who swap and change.
The few times Iâve heard blues address this, it is with claims that their internal stats show that Alliance & Horde are balanced.
Maybe thatâs even true with respect to total number of players, but that doesnât address the obvious imbalances like for how the horde mythic raid first 100 fills up weeks before alliance does.
Itâs a bummer because the first step in fixing a problem is recognizing you have one, and it seems like Blizzard refuses to do that here.
I dont think its entirely false, but you can agree to disagree there if you wish. As far as the races added I could see some merit in that argument. I myself dont find any of the alliance allied races particularly interesting aside from void elves, but that doesnt mean the rest of the playerbase feels the same way. Again its all down to players choices. Only way blizz would know any better in that regard is if they did something like a poll to let players decide which the more popular races would be, then try to place them accordingly.
As far as the horde favortism shown I used to be in the boat saying that blizz was biased, but I havent seen any actual proof of it. They wear both alliance and horde shirts etc so again there is no 100% proof of anything there.
