Alliance is half-dead at this point. At least at the mid to high end anyway. We’ve known this for quite a while.

Trying to get my guild to switch back to horde but doubt I’ll be able to convince everyone to spend the $$$. So, alliance I remain.

…with practically no ability to recruit new people to the raid team. Which we desperately need.

As far as new races…

Choice 1. Is pudgy humans that can punch things

Choice 2. Is extremely fit trolls with a full heal racial, and a multi pronged loa ability that benefits all classes

From what I can tell… with what’s written on the forums (which isn’t really the most reputable source) but it had something to do with racials, where the horde at some point had better racials that were a bit more superior than the Alliance and a few guilds were too eager to exploit this advantage and so it caused a domino effect where other guilds followed up until most guilds race changed from Ally to Horde.

As I’ve said many times, my guild and I both used to be horde. I’d personally rather be horde as I only went alliance for them. I’m irl friends with most of them though.

That being said, folks like to do what streamers/the top end is doing. I’m pretty sure that it was just people copying Method/Limit.

Now it’s basically impossible to recruit on alliance, there are less than half as many groups in the tool, it takes forever to fill a pug raid if need be…

Alliance have just been losing to horde via attrition for years. People quitting or switching sides.

It’s just reached a critical point this expansion is all.

Blizzard is going to break the faction barrier next expansion IMO.

It worked in 2004, but it won’t work in 2020.
