Alliance can get a wolf, kodo, forsaken looking mount, white hawkstrider, and raptors already. I don’t think one more wolf mount would ruin the identity of the Alliance or Horde.
The Horde will still be known for its orcish wolf riders and the Alliance will still be known for its knights on horseback

It’s the next store mount with magical wings. Flying wolf is what this game needs.

What original aspects? I’ve had wolf mounts as Alliance for roughly four years now.
This makes me cry to some extent, I liked the fact that the cats were mostly alliance exclusive. I feel like that should be the case and horde should get raptors exclusive on their side. That said that ship has sailed and nobody cares what I think.
Gnomes are riding dragons and Tauren’s are riding skinny crane birds. Plus, as a gnome I already have a wolf mount too. The one from killing that rare in WoD. So to me it doesn’t feel out of place.
I would prefer the bee mount though since Stormsong is part of the Alliance side and there are tons of bees there and a bee flight path mount.

Just put a saddle on a worgen, Alliance can have all the wolf mounts they’d ever desire.

Joking aside I’m stoked; I love the wolf mounts in-game already but they’re all Orc influenced, not that that’s a bad thing. This one actually looks like it was raised in the Alliance which is awesome aesthetically, and from an RP standpoint!
Because frack horses! Not because there’s a ton of them already, but because I’d rather ride around on a wolf the size of a small car than a smelly temperamental horse that’s no smarter than a stump.

Alliance having wolf mounts doesn’t bug me. I’ve been able to ride an Alliancy looking mount since BC. She’s a pretty bird lion thing too.
