Personally I don’t care that much but it’s not very comparable. Especially now that alliance will have Darkshore first so they’ll get a 400 first from that, so that evened out.

If they don’t they won’t be getting people to transfer back over. A decade of skilled Alliance players rerolling to Horde(Method used to be Alliance.) has crippled the Alliance player base.
The main mythic raiding guild since MoP called it quits 2 weeks ago because they couldn’t replace people leaving.

Double dipping on multiple freebie initial gear upgrades wont make people transfer back over, or increase their skill level.

I thought the M+ cache being capped at 380 was a slap in the face this week, especially since in Legion when the ilvl increase happened there wasn’t a week waiting period. But wtf is this?

The problem with this being that some 400 gear isn’t going to be enough to move the 1% Mythic quality players back the other direction - it’s just going to create a discrepancy among those in majority of the player-base.
If they really want to move that 1% back, they need to fix racials.

If one faction is getting 400 while the other isn’t, it’s ridiculously OBVIOUS it’s an unintended issue. So why on earth are there people replying as if it was intended? What is wrong with your brains?

Because that is how the warmode quest has worked since it was implemented, only the faction with ‘less people in warmode’ (seems to be worldwide, regardless of what is happening on your region/datacenter) gets the quest. The only difference is now, the rewards are ilvl 400 instead of 370, because season 2 started.
