I’m surprised to see the Alliance bonus decline when it increased the previous week under the same conditions. Any guesses as to what’s going on? Alliance raiding guilds switching to Moon Guard for the “free” 30%?
bait and switch from blizzard, its bullshhit, takes as many as 3 times to complete wqs because of the bad sharding, too much horde, however they decide to reduce the reward for enganging on wmode. time to turn it off again, doesnt worth the time it takes.

Maybe a lot of people turned WM on for alts or made new alts to level under the 30%? So it’s not a reflection of large increases of alliance at 120 for pvp, but rather alliance at level 1 to 100.

Could it be due to OC servers. A ton of alliance in wm last week just owning any horde they see. My alts have a sore bottom

I do wonder if some of it is partitioning into different shards and time zones. If I were running a raiding guild in contention for world firsts, I’d be doing that switch to Moon Guard I mentioned.
Who knows. Its really wild this sharding tech is.

Who left ED? I was never on ED; they just overflow onto my shards, against my will.

Yeah, I see ED PVP all the time due to the way the shards mix.
ED Alliance is doing better these past weeks we were camping Mechagon and Naz nonstop lol

I always though alliance on ED dominated the horde (and most RP realns in NA)
We used to but most PvPers swap to Horde to help the imbalance then WM came and only the RPers stayed Alliance and since they got a way to get off wpvp that messed fAlliance hard

Same deal this week. Not sure whether AOO is preventing the imbalance from getting worse, or whether something else is at work. I’m also not at all sure that, without changes, the ratio will ever get below 1:2 in 8.2.

Tbh, the oceanic servers are screwing it in 2 ways, firstly the alliance bonus on US servers isn’t as high as it should be, secondly horde on oceanic is nigh unplayable because the alliance are front running it into oblivion, we’re getting AOO on shards we totally dominate 24/7.
I’ve had wm on since wm, and it started out with the horde overrunning us but since they introduced AOO and refuse to regionalise it, it’s pretty bad.
