Some of you guys really need to consider what blizzard is trying to do. They are trying to encourage people to participate in activities. If people don’t participate in activites then they have nothing to do and will no longer pay blizzard. If they no longer pay blizzard then blizzard doesn’t have money for your raids.
Now what exactly do you want, money for your content or not ?
The logic argument made in this thread was logistical in nature, so yeah 40 man was “harder” than 20 man.
But hey, I’ll move on from the topic. You are a better M+ player than I am and I don’t raid at all. So the points are clearly coming from more knowledge from you than me.
I am surprised though, that you don’t value the M+22 teams (you were +16 least season) while saying the content you can do is “harder” than what they did. That feels like a really strange path to try to cut to make yourself feel better.
This is a false, I dont know the exact definition of what logical fallacy this is, but you are saying there is only option A or option B. When there is an option C you are ignoring.
A: Blizzard encourages you to do content with incentives
B: If they dont you wont do content and all players will unsub
But what about option C? Making content that is fun that people actually like doing without needing to be bribed to do it?
No they want us to stop doing everything, Island exp sucks don’t do them. Warfronts suck, don;t do them. In it’s essence this post is trash, yeah the content isn’t exactly to my liking either, but I do it, otherwise I’m paying 18/mo to sit in Boralus making posts like these.
C. would mean taking away money from raiding and giving it to world content and that isn’t something they are going to do in the middle of an expansion so we are back to just leaving the reward at 385.
I have no idea why you bring up making content fun when you really are complaining about the wPvP reward. Isn’t killing horde fun ?
Im not sure what you are jabbing me here with. I dont disagree that people doing 20+ keys last tier was not difficult, nor did I ever say that. If they want high ilvl rewards for it I completely agree
No idea who you are referring to as they but for me personally I want blizzard to make fun content, which they succeed at in some ways and fail in others.
I think you are referring to the quality of thought in some peoples responses, such as yourself.
You even agree that the content is currently bad. But you think not talking about it is the best way to proceed? Just say nothing? If you’re going to 200iq me and respond with something predictable like “posting on the forum does nothing”, what else can we do? Theres no feedback section, all we can do is come in here and hope theyll get the message
I don’t think it’s bad as a whole, I’m not 100% on board with a lot of it. My problem here is your post in general, you seem to know the quote button well why not use edit to fix the things you already know are false in your original post. Most of the posts like these are general rants with no solution. Many feel like me that removing warmode all together and reinstating pvp servers would end this animosity once and for all.
Instead of making good suggestions, you claim there is no feedback button. There is definitely a submit suggestion ticket built right into game, and I for one have taken the time to put one in.
Not a jab, you were saying it is harder to raid (which you did accomplish) than to M+22 (which you didn’t accomplish). I’m just saying that makes no sense to me. My point is that M+22 is a more difficult challenge than mythic raiding, based on this very example alone.
Your very thread was intended to shove raiding as more important and challenging than M+ and I think your history proves you wrong, period. And the irony is some of what you want is already in the game - you want raiding to be artificially made more important, and because all crafting gear requires a LOT of raiding, you got what you wanted.
The only way the Horde can be compensated at this point is if all Alliance gear is removed, and Alliance characters become mounts for us to ride around on. They’d move at turtle speed and constantly complain at the player… basically how they are now, but slightly more useful.
I suggested in my OP that 375 should be the absolute maximum, as well as the consideration to remove 400 item level rewards from week 1 of content.
People complaining about high ilvl requirements and raiderio enmasse is a fact.
Indignation is not the primary point, but you would have to actually read.
No exaggeration. This will make problems casual players complain about worse.
Yep, another hit and run personal attack without taking a second to understand anything.
No I didnt and I explained this to you in my last post, what I actually said was starting a guild from scratch and getting CE is harder than pugging a 15 key. You then started bringing up +22s and pretending I said that. As I already said +20 is difficult and I am not adverse to these people receiving high rewards for it.
No, now you are focused on the comparison you brought up and are pretending this was the focus of my post. its not.
No I dont.
It takes less than 1 full clear to get 3 400 pieces in the first week, so no.
If I looked back at this expansion some day, I would define it as a lot of things, but certainly not the expansion that “I got what I wanted” by any stretch of the imagination.
It’s also a fact that you COULD join a guild to raid with, make a pre made group from a list of players you’ve raided with before and gotten to know. Raid io not required now is it? But you’d rather pug it, and not bother getting to know anyone and build up a list of reliable players you could raid with.
How’s that for understanding? You have options. You might try using them instead of filling the forums with whining. The only thing holding you back in this game is YOU. Well and Blizzard time-gates, but I digress.
You should take the time to actually look at the available rewards for professions before you say this. Leatherworking currently provides items for mail and leather, and you can still obtain the 400 gear for the other classes with via their tailoring or blacksmithing. Engineering provides upgrades for all armor wears. And yes this is within the realm for more casual players to obtain.
Uh…who are you talking to? I think you took that conversation out of context and assumed I am one of those players, which I am not. I love raiderio I was telling someone that was trying to deny people dont do this is false.
You gave those two. Hardly anyone has those two, given the difficulty in leveling up engineering this expansion. The number of people who have both a gear crafting profession and engineering at this point is tiny.
I have tailor enchanters of all 4 armor types. Lots of people have gear crafters who use a different type of armor than the one they can craft. The idea that everybody should dump their profession and spend much gold and many hours maybe multiple times an expansion changing their profession yet again makes you sound like you are channeling your inner Ion.
Again, how long does it take to level engineering, including the ridiculous amounts of mats that are needed to do so? Doesn’t sound like starting over again on every character, after having done so in the previous expansion and probably having to do so in the next is a remotely “casual” endeavor.
