Alliance AOO decrease to 385 is still not enough, and the alliance arent going to like the effect

I believe someone brought up a similar point earlier and said something along the lines of

“there is always gonna be stupid people out there making insane requirements for low keys or normal/heroic”

And my response was yes it will, and these AOO loot systems are going to make that problem worse, Which I did touch on in my first post.

So, everyone?

What, you want them to give you mythic loot for pet battles?

Purple and orange pets.

Which would invalidate the non purple and orange pets.

The exact way that M raiding loot invalidates N / H raiding loot.

Although, technically, with pet abilities there’s always going to be combinations to try out.

Legitimate point about absurdity of catch-up mechanics before there is anything to catch up to, yet unnecessarily made (at least in title) about overwhelming odds (OO).

Warfronts are clearly far more egregious. OO gives 400 rewards for one week, and yeah, it felt silly (and will at least be remedied in the future). But Darkshore/Ivus give out 400 rewards every week, and there is no sign of that being curbed.

Misplaced protest?

On week one of the raid being out, Alliance have access to the timewalking normal piece, a 400 ilvl piece, another free 400 from the warfront, and the ilvl boosted ivus next week.

It’s a ridiculous head start. Will it matter when 10s start dropping 400 gear? Probably not, but it sucks how much free gear is going to only one side on the first raid week.

Kind of like when Horde had repeated access to 340 gear, only there was no level requirement to acquire said gear. Or that you could run said scenario as many times as you wanted.

A ridiculous head start for world-first heroic Jaina then?

Well, both factions could do Mythic+ for endless 355s, I’m not sure I see a comparison.

It’s funny that people won’t let the week-1 Arathi thing die. But it’s kind of the same thing that drives a lot of these threads. Any hint of unfairness however tiny is far more offensive to people than far greater flaws that affect both sides.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d understand if the complaints were coming from people playing the game at a highly competitive level where it could be legitimately argued that they were adversely affected.

If it’s not fun for you, then why are you even playing? And no, turning on an optional mode that has only ever been for fun shouldn’t net you heroic raid gear, or really anything aside from perhaps pvp currency, because, you know, it’s a pvp activity. This makes about as much sense as honor and rating dropping from raid bosses.

I don’t see you vouching to pay for Maudrid subscription. Everyone plays their game how they see fit.

I agree, but I’d add that emissaries (questing) and warfronts (lfr made easier?) dropping raid-level gear breaks the same rules.

Your point? I never told anyone how to play. Asking a question about someone’s motivation isn’t telling someone how to play. The “logic” on these forums is deplorable.

If you’re questioning why someone is playing the game because of the content you like and they don’t, you’re apart of the problem.

Asking someone “why” isn’t part of the problem. Are you even serious?

Yup, I’m not going any further deflect game is strong.

But sadly your logic isn’t.

And I don’t think the word “deflect” means what you seem to think it means. You’re the one who brought up paying for someone’s sub instead of actually staying on topic. I simply answered your statements.

Its funny. ironic and sad that we argue with each other about these things on the forums and accuse each other of being a problem when we never talk about the real one, which is blizzard.

Blizzard created a PVP system and bribed people with absurd rewards to participate in it.

People come on forums to complain about being griefed/camped because of the incentive and poor sharding, but point the finger at horde and alliance.

Blizzard makes warfronts, one of the worst “content” updates ever to release to the game and again, BAIT YOU with substantial rewards for its participation.

People come on the forum and rage that the other faction got to do it first, it isn’t fun, or they dont like it.

Blizz ignores complaints and looks at the data and goes:

“Well 90%” of all players seem to be faithfully completing the darkshore every time its up therefore it is a good system and people seem to like doing it."
Same thing applies for island expeditions. People are doing them so they must be fun right?

Blizz hands out huge rewards for anything and people wonder why they get declined to anything above a M4 key. They come on the forum and complain that they have a 400 ilvl and cant get invited, but then go on to blame raiderio or the toxic community.

This is the problem, blizzard makes TERRIBLE game decisions and takes too much time to back down on them once they realize they made a mistake.
