At this point the only way to really force people to swap factions is to make each one clearly better at certain content, effectively splitting the PvP and PvE community.
It’s not a good solution but at this point I don’t know what else they could do.
People shouldn’t need incentives to play Alliance… Maybe that says something about half the game if most people don’t want to play it. How about you make the Alliance interesting instead of making them OP so people will play
The overall population is roughly even, it’s the population that are more than just casual players that is the problem. This was caused due to unchecked advantages - incentives - the Horde had for years that caused the more serious players to migrate to the Horde for both PvE and PvP.
You have no idea of the history of the game and the current situation.
You didn’t have to learn to play. Got your gear up and you can just sneeze on the undergeared opposition. Why not tell Blizz that the bonus is unfair and ruins the game, then learn to play once the playing field is EVEN.
Don’t speak of competitive if you know literally nothing about the game- there’s a reason Horde fills out the HoF months before Alliance each time, Alliance is in such a state that there’s basically no point in being on the faction at all if you want to play competitively.
Shadowmeld is very strong in M+, but I wouldn’t argue it’s great in PvP. It’s alright for the most part. The stun racial is great against the OP Sub at the moment, but the racials in general are pretty even across the board. They’re certainly not strong enough on the Alliance to promote more serious players to swap factions.
Yeah, that’d work if I could even get half the kills they get. That’s my complaint, it’s nearly impossible to get kills and win in a BG because the gap in gear is already too wide.
It’s always so precious when Alliance forgets that merc mode exists because of them.
People are playing Alliance, this is not about population, it’s about people queueing. Alliance tends to be more populated by people that doesn’t have interest in queueable content.
Apparently, the only way for Alliance to get things done is when they get special treatment, but this ain’t new.
Blizz wants $35 for to switch one character to a lame faction. I’m not giving them more money because they need to unbalance a game so people will play it. If they made a good game form the start, this wouldn’t be a problem.
You probably know what I’m talking about. Probably have a Ally PvP character to take advantage of the boosts, but have a horde character too because they’re actually interesting.
