Yeah… of course it feels like it’s for Sylvanas.
But you know who else it feels like it’s for? Jaina or Tyranda.
Because Alleria is now pretty much insane and bent on revenge.
Kinda like Jaina and Tyranda were.
Blizzard can only write women being insane or Girlboss.

Same problem that is present in literally every story like this. They give the hero character monstrous powers but you never see the main hero succumb to these powers at all. Alleria having a little headache isn’t really showing off her succumbing to them lol.
Have her torture an enemy with the void or something, that’s an easy way to show off her being a monster.
Tyrande I feel gets a bad rap, because she had every right to feel vengeance, and all she really did in the end was get rid of Nathanos for us. He became unbearable. She in the end did not kill any civilians or any other actual insanity. She went after the person that did her people wrong. And it felt real when she told us at the end of SL that she still could not completely trust and forgive us.
Didn’t she die attempting to protect Silvermoon from Arthas?
Was her sister there? I don’t remember to be honest?

I could see this angle if we got a scene of Alleria picking off fleeing or surrendering Nerubians or cultists. But we never see that, every encounter so far involves aggravation from the nerubians. Show not tell.
Does that matter? If someone is trying to kill me, I am not going to let them because they aren’t evil and just following orders.

She went flat out insane. We see this by her legit leaping into the Shadowlands despite everyone else being like “Tyranda listen we know you want to kill Sylvanas but you gotta be calm and wait” And she was all like “Okay” and the moment that portal opened up she was like “SYLVANAS!” and hopped into the portal.

See I just don’t find it insane for her to chase down and want to kill the person that tried to wipe out her people to fuel one of the dumbest plans ever.
I like games like Dishonored and Far cry 3 that try to tell you that mindlessly killing is probably a bad idea through its story but wow definitely aint the medium for that LOL. Think about how many common soldiers the player character has slaughtered at this point.

She was leader of the Night Elves she needed to be there to lead the Surviving Night Elves instead she was so far into revenge she disregarded that and leapt right into the Shadowlands without a second thought.

Agree. Sylvanas is reportedly going to play a major part in the second part of this trilogy. Having Alleria go this path will probably make her understand sylvanas more than being a hypocritical voidy.
To be fair she was kind of used by Elune.
