I particularly enjoyed the part where she clearly advertised her next attack to the person who has, up to that point, dodged almost every attack she’s made.

War against changing clothes
Alleria was one of the worst choices for this main character thing. The rivaly between her and xalatath feels super forced and not good. The only rivalry she really has is that xalatath is void related, and she is void as well.
They tried to sell it to us because she hoovered khadgar but its not like she was his wife, they were just friends, and it was not like any of his other closer friends was going way of of their way jeprodising others to get revenge.
It would have been far better if Xalatath sucked in Turalyon, THAT would have given her a far better reason to be the front line character.

Also who tf put her in charge? I remember Lilian Voss telling me to report to Alleria and I was thinking “Okay first, I don’t answer to Alliance leadership and second, who’s the lunatic who put her in charge of this campaign?”
Well being the frontline character comes from her past with the void and Xal’atath exploiting that. I’d ask, do you think there are better, already-established, characters in WoW right now that would have made a better frontline character than Alleria for this specific conflict with Xal’atath?
Alleria makes sense to bring to the front, in my opinion, they just made her insufferable along the way.
xal did try to kill alleria with a converted memory of turalyon. So she shot first
Yeah anduin and thrall would have been a better choice here.
If anduin took over the role Alleria played it would have came off better. Since we are dealing with Sad boy arc anduin a far better development would have been rather then sad boy 2.0 you deal with him also having a bunch of frustration and anger as well.
A better charcter to have a rivalry with xalatath? Not sure, im not saying that Alleria could not have worked, but with out they presented it it felt super forced. For example like i said if Turalyon would have been the one sucked into the void, the Alleria xala rivalry would be 100x more believable since it would have been her husband, rather then Khadgar who while a good friend, was just a friend. Pretty much any one of Khadgars friends would have had just as much of a reason to take over allerias role in the xala x alleria rivalry/

I can’t imagine she could absorb The Light into her plot macguffin. I think it was just arcane power. So Dalaran and Khadgar at least made sense with that in mind.
Hell you know what thinking about it, Wrathion would have been a better and more interesting choice here considering he was the one that released her.
It was no more personal to her then any of Khadgars other close friends, hell you could even argue that it would have effected jaina far more then Alleria considering Alleria has literally zero relation to the city of dalaran.
Xalatath bew up dalaran, and “Killed” Khadgar, hell if anything that would put Jaina as top of the list for people who have beef with xalatath the most, considering she “killed” quite possibly her best advisor, teacher, friend, and destroyed the city that she had a deep connection to.
yeah but jaina had a bit too much screentime with shadowlands and bfa. so i dont blame if they wanna use different characters
Well sure, but if we are talking about whos the better fit here, Jaina would have been the better pick, hell Wrathion would have been a really good pick considering he set her free in the first place, but then again they just got their home sorted so.

Alleria is a clown. She always was a clown. I’ve always hated her ever since she took advantage of Turalyon’s feeling for her to manipulate him into having sex with her after Lirath died then pushed him away as soon as she got what she wanted.
Turalyon deserves better.

I mean, I tend to expect this from Dracthyr players but it doesn’t stop being annoying.
