The one character I think whose writing is pretty poor right now. I hope they turn it around and she does something that surprises me.

And yet its Xal crying like a madwoman at the end because her entire scheme was destroyed by one arrow.
People complain when we have overpowered characters and then they complain again when a hero actually does the whole hero’s journey and realize “yeah my tactic is not working and my state of mind will not help me” and actually BETTERS themselves.
It was never about Xal being better with the void because that is a debatable thing to be honest, it was Alleria not totally understanding herself/dealing with the grief of her failure.

Yeah in the cutscene where she tries to shoot Xal’atath when Queen Ansurek is giving her speech I was like “Really? REALLY? you didn’t know this is a trap? Didn’t even consider it???”
I mean seriously how dumb is she? Xal’atath KNEW she was there.
I’m also really tired of her whining about how she has to walk alone because void. No you don’t. Void elves do it just fine and are integrated into normal society. Stop trying to be the loner emo kid

Xalatath keeps messing with Alleria and she keeps letting it happen.
The moment Xal appears, without thinking alleria she goes all rambo on her not knowing that’s it’s another illusion.
People keep calling Anduin weak and dumb, but i think alleria is up there as well, maybe even higher.

I think they’re trying to show her being blinded by rage because Khadgar died, but it was never really shown that they were that close. I mean yeah they met and worked together but it’s not like they were Uber besties.
It feels forced. Her anger toward Xalatath feels very forced and fake
