All of my friends are gone. Only character friends exist in game. I have restarted my computer, logged out of the app, checked before login that my zone is correctly set to Americas twice, and they’re still all gone.

I’d check on this again after maintenance.
We can’t see or touch those. What can happen, however, is that they don’t download when you log in.
If they are still missing tomorrow (and you know no one else has accessed your account to delete them) I’d make a bug report.

Seeing more reports of this - so it’s probably not just a download thing.
I know they are working on some backend things at the moment - I’d check again in the morning, or after maint.

Also running into this issue. AND my guild tab is totally grey and unable to be opened with hotkeys.
Relogged after my internet went out for a bit, friends list completely gone. Not the unknown bug, gone as if the first time you opened an account, with the find new friends message and all.
