Big stream happening tomorrow. “Big” as in announcing a lot of stuff involving stuff that’s cool that I can’t list out at the moment because I’m lazy and would rather go back to farming stuff. ANYWAYS, some of the stuff announced tomorrow MIGHT be about priests (HOLY, DISC, AND SHADOW). so let’s hope that they give us something nice, no matter where you fall on the void form vs shadow orbs debate (we still need something done), but Holy and Disc need a lot of love too. And if there isnt anything for us…beta will soon be here and we all NEED to give our feedback no matter how detailed it is. We are not the Devs, we are the players. So even if you don’t know how to give a detailed and written out fix, just telling them you’re unhappy with insert thing THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO. And if there are those of you who do and want to give that detailed feed back, then do it!!! The suggestion box we have in game is for ideas for Blizzard to use to help us. If you are good at homebrewing up something unique, balanced, not to difficult(but difficult enough to not be boring), and fun to play, then that might get their attention and inspire them. But let’s pull together, be positive and let blizz know that Priests need help. (feel free to drop a lot of priest puns, because I live for those)
I think we should Pray and hope to the Holy angel for the best, but prepare to be Discappointed as the announcements will surely cast a Shadow over our expectations.

I am hopeful for disc changes. However, I am realistic with it. They spent all last expansion nerfing us. We ain’t getting any positive changes. I’ll eat crow if I’m wrong

Dude take it from me Holy and Disc are done. I have went through this during the launch of the last 2 xpacks. I am willing to bet large amounts of gold that Shadow Lands goes live with those 2 specs in nearly the exact same state as they are now. Shadow will get some changes because of all the noise right now. There has been major problems with many talent rows for the 2 healing specs for years. Priests are always overlooked. As long as Blizzard makes sure Druids and Paladins are in a good spot that’s all that matters. If not expect another glimmer to ensure that.

Not getting my hopes up, it will likely just be a beta and final release date announcement.
Yeah, not to say that some of the changes being made are not good but it just feels too little. They should really do a greater talent overhaul…

Agree. Some changes in the right direction, but it is mostly stuff that should have been there all along. Still no reason at all to bring a Holy priest over any other healer. Give them something.

they specifically said they will redesign Paladins Night Fea ability because its not “Fun” so…
That was what really got stuck in my craw. A new covenant ability was not fun so they are redesigning it. On the other hand the insanity ramp mechanic for Shadow Priests is not tremendously fun but the best they could do was to give us Devouring Plague as a token gesture, and tell us that they don’t want to overhaul voidform. The latter felt like acknowledgement that they are aware that there is a problem.
