I originally rolled a Hunter for SoD because I was so excited for Lone Wolf Marksman Hunter.
Guess that ship has sailed, and we’re leaning fully into Melee Survival Hunter now.

Glad to see enhance left in the cold, going just as planned. Keep them bad so you have to give us lust going great.
Why does warrior get a flat ap buff? Whose designing this. I’m the biggest warrior stan and even I’m getting concerned.
I’m not sure this is all of them. Example: rogue has no bracer runes but several other classes do. I think some of these are runes for phase 3 or 4 that got added in.

Rogue looks incomplete so hopefully there is more to come. Interestingly, the blood moon weapons dont include a slow main hand so this might be a sign that daggers are the way
I don’t think this is all phase 2 runes. There are no hat or bracer slot runes listed for Shaman.
Those shaman runes are an absolute joke. Like omg man blizz does not care at all about shamans
There’s too many runes on this list for phase 2. I think some won’t be implemented and some are for after phase 2.
Maelstrom Weapon could be good, but unless it’s ppm rather than a set % proc chance, it will be way more effective with dual wield than 2h.
That said, I am super jealous of all the awesome melee caster runes that paladins are getting. 30% of attack power as spell damage, passive mana regen just from attacking badguys, 17% spell hit, etc.
Wow… hunter is insanely underwhelming outside of the new melee rune and trap launcher. Imagine adding a rune to buff explosive shot which tickles. 10% extra damage? What the heck? It needs about 100% extra damage to be usable.

Shaman looks like they are getting much less attention than the other classes. Spirit of the Alpha is great but I have a feeling it’s going to be another Shamanistic Rage, in that it’s so good you have to take it for dungeons/raids.
The belt runes don’t look bad on their own…but are pretty disappointing compared to other classes. Safe bet that belt and boots are the only new runes slots in P2…but the fact that they haven’t even been testing other slots like almost every other classes has been suggests a degree of neglect for our class.
Hopefully wee get some more love before this goes live because this is pretty underwhelming so far.
