I’m currently in a norm pug and i’ve somehow managed to survive without getting booted (for now) with 6 bosses down. But i’ve been in this raid for the last 3+ hours. LFR is a LOT more time flexible than this garbage.

Same I’ve been trying for the last 6 hours to get into a raid group through group finder that can manage to get past the first 3 bosses lmao. Lfr respects my time way more than this mess.

If you’re trying to do it all in one stretch on the first day of the patch, sure it’s not very flexible.
But you can hop in for the bosses you need and once you get to the skip bosses it’s easy to target the remaining.
Getting 60% of the way done on day 1 isn’t bad progress.
I figured they would have let the wisdom buff continue to say they’re listening to feedback and then ignore the LFR cat outrage.
Most of the complaints stemmed from casuals not having content. LFR cat and wisdom were both casual content. I hoped we just got one of them.

There’s a quest that opens skip to the later bosses. All 3 raids have one. Like for Castle Nathria, acquiring the skip will skip 6 of the 10 bosses, so you’d only need to defeat Shriekwing and Sludgefist to get to the last 2 bosses.
Wow, the irony in your reply is actually palpable.
Is that one of those quests like the raid skips in legion? If so, it’s totally useless then isn’t it? Since I would need to run through an entire month of lockouts to get the quest items I need? And that’s assuming you get a group willing to skip bosses with you.

The raids aren’t new. There’s bound to be someone in your group that has it. And there are gonna be groups that skip because the later bosses give higher leveled gear.
