Ice lance and frostbolt look the same with ice lance just traveling faster, flurry is 3 frostbolts, and blizzard is frostbolt from a different angle. Can we get some spell visual variety please? At least ice lance looking like a lance of ice would be nice.

Yeah, not likely to happen anytime soon with what’s been going on in Blizzard cubicals… can you imagine having to design complex VFX when the person next to you is drunk and the one two cubicals down is constantly making sexist remarks and trying to grope women by the water cooler? We all joke about how everything since Legion has been a re-skin or a recolor well now we know why.

Flurry are not 3 frostbolts 
It has the same palette of colors but it’s different.
I do think tho Ice lance should have another animation.
Flurry is 3 anemic looking Frostbolts doing a tailspin into the target. The biggest let down in WoW mage history was dropping Frostfire Bolt for that thing.

Blizzard can’t even get heritage armor out in a timely basis. There’s zero chance our spells get graphical revisions. It would be awesome though.
It looked pretty good for the first half of Legion though. Of course they had to make it look hideous with the unnecessary animation update.
