Some of these players were reluctant to even play and only picked up classic because of the dumpster fire BFA is.
Now they are leaving classic but making
SO MUCH NOISE about it. The irony is, five of the seven people I’ve mentioned never even wanted Classic. They just played because they were bored
But now they are saying things like “oh there’s no end game” or “I got my bis NOW WHAT” or “Classic is dead”
This was never their game but they sure act like Classic was meant to appeal to their retail tastes and then they complain and moan when classic doesn’t meet their anti social instant gratification needs.
I repeat
Classic was not or will never be their cup of tea
so why can’t they shut up about it?

Its generally considered poor social form to badmouth your friends. If he’s got a problem with his friends, he needs to take it up with them and not put it somewhere where everyone can see it. Not airing your dirty laundry n whatnot.

Imma tell you something that will shock you: people said the exact same thing in 2005.
It’s not a retail mentality. People demanded more content from Blizz. Artificial time gating of 1.12 content was a stupid idea.
Cause unlike retail, classic content is being lock, bg locked, raids locked, only thing they give you is 2 raids and soon honor system. And you wonder why they left. Real question why are playing a game that you can’t even enjoy all the content
So, in here the op states retail players play retail. I mean, is this a joke thread?
The time gating in classic is gross. No wonder your friends quit.
Because they have more to vent about than just an online game. Anger at WoW can be an expression of other frustrations in a person’s life.
