Don’t feel abused on my hunter. My pet was doing 80dps just the other day. Now he’ll only be doing 75 dps and ill be doing more.

I got starsurge somewhere at 24 cause i decided to level as feral. But hunter still easier, dont need to press buttons.
Also im not playing anymore. Too long timegates for a casual like me

3rd in pve only behind rogues and wars, by far the most efficient solo farming and solo questing class, always most kills in wsg. Yet all the hunters still cry. Haha

The “buffs” to make up for the lost pet damage don’t even revert the previous nerfs to those abilities lol

Chimera Shot went from 125% to 85% to now 100%, still a nerf.
With near BiS, Explosive Shot went from 85-90 damage to around 30ish, and with a 25% buff before gear it’ll be around 32-33ish. Still massively nerfed and unusable.

The mana cost reduction for Chimera Shot and Flanking Strike are the only real actual buffs in these notes. The rest are just changes partially walking back previous nerfs, which isn’t a buff, it’s just less of a nerf.

Flanking Strike only costs 18 mana, so reducing that by half isn’t even meaningful. Where is the mana cost reduction for something that would matter, like Raptor Strike?

With melee hunter, they just flat-out lost damage, no damage was shifted to the hunter with any of these changes.

Chimera Shot will be the only viable glove rune for ranged hunters, and Carve will be the only viable rune for melee. Great fixes, Blizz. Our only viable loadout was just dumpstered.

Thats your problem, shoulda gone for starsurge earlier. Makes leveling even faster than a Hunter. Hunter without BM rune is trash so maybe farm the best leveling runes?

Pets do about 25-30% of a BM hunter’s damage. What are you talking about?

Whats funny is there is a dude on twitch doing that literally right now lol, legit pulling entire WC and killing everything. People confuse best solo farmer to most comfortable solo quester…like Hunter isn’t the best at anything, it’s just easier and more comfortable.

They still have 25 more talent points to work, and many more abilities to learn.

Hunters at 40 are gonna be nuts, especially if they get the runes that were datamined. There is a reason why hunters are being “balanced”

Dude every class at 40 is gonna be insane, I can’t wait to 100-0 every class in a cheapshot-kidney shot on rogue. Like people complain about Hunters, but oh man you all have no idea about Rogues.
