I say “mystery” insofar as ignoring how the whole thing not being immediately apparent is entirely reliant upon the player being a Mute Protagonist who can’t speak up when it should be obvious to them that the enemy is something they’ve fought before.

If you’re Horde you only vaguely know the Drust exist from world quests.

the Drust as if he knows who they are on sight, without a proper reveal moment to expose the true enemy and establish why Ara’lon would know a Drust when he sees one.

Memory is a bit hazy on this, but I swear I remember a quest on the beta that you found out more clearly. I think it was cut or changed a while back as they were streamlining the questing. I think this is just a case of a little to much being cut for it to be clear.
