Upon accepting this quest, you are instructed to go talk to the npc named Akama. However, if the unfriendly npc named ‘Vagath’ is in the room, Akama will not talk to you or progress you further in your quest. After reading comments on wowhead from 2007, others had similar issues with this quest bugging out and the unfriendly npc Vagath not despawning to allow players to finish the quest. Is there anything i can do to reset him on my own, or will i have to wait for a server reset and hope i beat everyone else out here to turn in this bugged quest?
We’re experiencing this same issue on the Benediction server. Large groups of both alliance and horde just pool around Akama waiting to see if he fixes himself. No one can interact with him.
