I have many thoughts about LLMs and their impact on human growth and development in the creative space. However, I ramble, and what Simon Sinek posited in a discussion rang true and succinct to me, so I will share it here. Look at it as a cautionary quote, if you will.
He’s discussing how the act of creation introduces a process and struggle, and that leads to growth and fulfillment.
" And we think AI will remove all the struggle. And the problem is it will. And so what you’ll end up with is an entire generation of people who are entry level for their whole lives because they have learned nothing even though all their products are fantastic. And that will weigh on someone’s soul. "
