Ill bite, 50 minutes in queue. It is a test phase.
In 2024 how long will the average gamer wait in queue?
weird it normal instant
It’s because of the paladin’s MMR. It should be better when there are more rewards, of course. But this is what it looks like at or near the top ATM.
This is kind of counter evidence for the people who think MMR isn’t working in Blitz. It may be a bit phonky, but it is there.
QQ get bad
LFG 1200 MMR healer to duo queue BGB.
I’ll q with you
PAWGERS#1423
i got time for 1 or two
Oh, I logged out hours ago and am done for the day and going to bed, but perhaps tomorrow. It would be interesting to see what happens with the MMR.
I’ve never played my warrior in shuffle lol will be fun
Sorry but i don’t really see the issue except that the game is pretty bad therefore fewer and fewer people are playing and pools/brackets/what-have-you shrink as well. The fix is for the game to get a ton better so lots of people find it worthwhile to come back and keep playing.
Even at my average(?) ‘rating’ Blitz queues are still kind of annoying to wait through.
^^^^
So much this.
It’s pretty sad how a game like DAoC that gets very few updates and is a bit older than WoW still has much better pvp. Unfortunately, it would take a complete revamp of every class in WoW from the bottom up to fix the issues. Their current method of balancing will never work because it does not get at the fundamental issues. Namely, every class can do almost everything. And CC is nearly useless in large scale fights. Sure, there might be a lot of CC, but the length of it is way to short to have any impact on moderately large fights. And this is the complete opposite to how it works in small group fights like arena where CC is the determining factor. There needs to be a better middleground.
And the talent trees are a complete joke. Most of them are focused on either single target or aoe target type of damage with a few other things thrown in. The talent trees should have been built around the style of pvp you want: crowd control, mobility, damage, healing, defense. Those should be the 5 pillars of pvp and the talent trees should be focused around them. Players can only be really good at two although they could theoretically spread their points around to all five and be weak at everything. Instead, we get the dumbest iteration of talent trees I ever saw… AoE or single target damage!!!
i stick my middle finger to all you ppl who said remove factions just to fix queues
orc zug zug pride world wide kill humans. new epic bgs when
Are you talking epic bgs ? Or randos? Or bgblitz?
The shortest queue times I have had are ~3 minutes, and the longest have been ~19 minutes. Time of day is a big factor, and expected to effect things considering the number of people in the system.
I’ll jam a few Blitz’s with you on my healer. I’m trash on her so you will enjoy low MMR.

Saw this post on EU forums thread Long BGB queues, thought it was an interesting outside the box take on the current situation. Copy and paste, I would recommend browsing the EU forums too. Lots of insight there.
"Probably the largest reason for long queues is the fact that its low down on the list of options to queue. If you’ve ever looked into marketing practices you realise just how simple things like having an option 3rd down means a large portion (50%+) of people will never even consider it as an option.
Without logging in, I think BG Blitz is like 4th or 5th down and worse, it has the ‘Brawl’ tag associated with it. Most people have tried brawls already and deemed them not worth the effort, so they just never try any new brawl that shows up unless its comp stomp."
Pretty sure there are several reasons behind the queue times, which is kind of happening on all fronts in retail right now.
The Ouroboros effect from SOD/Classic servers looks to be another major contribution to things. Wild to think about how many versions of World of Warcraft our players have been spliced into, right?
New SOD season on the way, plus Cata incoming.
^^ I believe this theory. It’s quite common for many players to sit there and queue two to three things at once. Blitz will be an afterthought to them.
Not in my case, though. 30+ minute queues where I just give up on the Paladin, switch to a different character and queue pops in around 10 minutes.
My paladin is currently 21W and 4L, which is in large part just getting lucky with not getting a lot of trash teams incapable of winning the match.
There are similar reports on EU forums regarding BGB mmr which are worth looking at.
