The real play isn’t to hit up Dwarven District, IF or Darn, it’s to park your bank/AH alt in the Exodar. Nobody goes there, and with no attention to farm the allure of the escapade swift loses its luster, not to mention all the bother of running there and through all the guards on a ground mount. If they try it anyway you can have your hearth set to any of the other major cities just in case, or just be a mage and pick a port. If they try to lock them all down, given you’re on a RP server, then it becomes objectively disruptive behavior and assuming people care enough to report the perpetrator eventually eats boot.

It’s better to be proactive than to kneel and beg aid.

Usually i’d say this is a PvP problem so find a PvP solution, but this is just being a pest, anyone doing this for any significant amount of time deserves a little holiday for zone disruption.

Eh, it’d only fall under zone disruption if you couldn’t easily get around it.

As it stands, you can go to a different zone, city or utilize something like a longboy.

Personally my advice is to have an alt pick up Legion Engineering and sit them in Legion Dalaran.

The problem is, that’s where all the lowbies and new people go and they may not always have the means/knowledge to get around it so easily. I have a longboy so it wouldn’t bother me at all, i just think it has the potential to negatively impact upon the newest and most vulnerable players.

Clearly the person is just being a pest, i don’t really understand why anyone would defend such a person or these types of behaviors :woman_shrugging:

Better yet, put bank alt in dalaran with base engineering

Your only “option” is if Blizz makes it so they cannot be killed.

laughs at the same time as using the engy ah

But really, just use a different ah. There’s a lot of them aroind. Also long bois are a thing. Go to oribos, there’s always a few around there

Or just get a team to kill the tarrun. Make beef minces out of them and they will get board

nope. again, if the standard were up to you any player could call anything you do griefing and have you banned but thats not how this works at all, something that has been made clear by blizzard both explicitly via statements and implicitly by the fact that said NPCs can even take damage from players.

i think this weekend will be a fun time for some 40 man raids on capitol cities.
hopefully you werent planning on doing any shopping

Dude is not griefing because its part of teh game . NPCs are labeled PvP so they are fair game . Been that way since day one , dont want them doing it --KILL THEM .

Do you think killing teh faction leaders ( who give quests etc ) is griefing as well --there is an achievement for killing all of the opposite faction in theri home cities .

Really they just need to remove the ability to enter the stockades when your in combat. It’s really more an issue of the guards in stormwind are a joke. The horde used to have the same issue in their AH but like always poppa Blizzard came in a save the day and made elite stealth guards on top of the Horde AH that destroyed anyone dumb enough to attack the building. The horde also enjoy the fact the only instance entrance is so far from the AH only the best pvp tanks stand a chance of making it. The Alliance on the other hand have the stockades less than a minutes run from the AH and guards that are an absolute joke. Personally it’s just part of the game and when some Tauren druid shows up I go elsewhere for my AH needs. It’s so nice being an engineer on most of my characters.

I mean there’s another one in the dwarf district, and if that one is being killed there is the Exodar and ironforge that has AH’s. There’s no way they can kill all of them, best thing to do with trolls and griefs in game is to ignore them and move on somewhere else that their not. Given they can only influence a small area honestly, and can only have as much impact as you willing to let them have on you.

eh. not technically given you can go to another city and use the AH.
Another good reason to be an engineer, AH’s everywhere, including Dalaran where I dont think anyone can kill the NPC because its a sanctuary

lmao…because its a frikkin WAR GAME?
Jesus christ…by the time some of you have your way with this game we’ll be calling it Tiddly Winks or Romper Room.

Nope, they are faction tagged NPCs and thus open to be killed by enemy players. Your only options are to use another AH or flag up and protect them.

Here come some conspiracy theory. Blizzard devs used to camp both auction houses so people would buy tokens and longboy :rofl::rofl:

If your primary city can’t deal with a single Tauren you don’t deserve to use the AH.

And no it isn’t bannable.

Take portal to Boralus and from there to Ironforge

lol. I used to go to Ironforge on my VDH and kill every NPC I could find, even got a few players to flag up and wasted them too, lol. Killed those AH NPCs a dozen times.
Never even got a note from a GM or anyone else about it.
They clearly ALLOW it, or the NPCs wouldnt be killable in the first place
