Well, there is a quest that rogues have to do that requires that so ,no. But if it is repeated by the same person constantly I would report him or just have pvpers get him.

There is a pvp solution that is not bannable. Get some people together and own him then camp him. He will leave, problem solved you’re welcome.

It’s tiresome. It is. Having ‘fun’ at the expense of other people’s time like this shouldn’t be allowed, IMO, but Blizzard has decided in their infinite wisdom that even PvE servers and people with warmode off need to be subjected to this kind of garbo.

In my opinion, city function NPCs and questgivers should be unkillable if you don’t have Warmode flipped on, but too many people consider this kind of thing to be integral to their WoW experience or something I guess so Blizzard is just fine with areas being made non-functional for swaths of time by people in maxed-out Conquest gear and nothing better to do if the other people in the city are tired of constantly chasing them around until they server hop to avoid death.

I moved my bank alt to the Dwarven District AH in SW instead and haven’t had any problems since, then again I tend to do my AH visiting during the day.

Those don’t exist on my server.

If you’re playing with humans then sometimes they aren’t going to do the thing you want them to do. If that’s something that bugs you then your should really consider a single player game.

People are doing what the developers allow them to do. The developers could easily choose to not let them do this, because it inconveniences people. They’ve decided to come down on the side of allowing people to be nuisances, inconveniencing many for the sake of the fun of a handful of dedicated trolls.

Doesn’t strike me as particularly good game design, but it’s not worth leaving the game over. I can still maintain the opinion that it’s deeply dumb that they let people do it, though.

The reason they attack the AH is to get players to pvp them ,more honor kills points if your in there flagged it’s your problem. I notice people quickly change from world pvp when there one pvpers attacking.

You sure can, as I’ll maintain my opinion that it’s bizarre to play an MMO and expect the devs to remove interactions between two factions who’s conflict is so foundational to the identity of that game.

Let me provide you with some facts that do not care about your feelings:

Again, if what you want is the standard for griefing then anyone can have you banned for any reason they personally deem as definitive.

This isn’t twitter where you can make up the meaning of things to fit your narrative.
Perhaps when you are an adult you will understand.

This is why I love having an AH in my garrison.

I don’t blame you for being frustrated, especially if there’s almost always just lowbies who can’t counter him around. It’s like a high school student going to a grade school to repeatedly kick over everybody’s sandcastles while strutting around. Some people unfortunately see no problem in entertainment at the expense of others.

It could count as zone/area disruption, which is a no-no. Report it and get others to report it. The worst that can happen is that you’ll be told there’s nothing they can do.

I’ve reported things like this and gotten results, give it a try. Good luck!

Here’s a better idea:

Report him in game for it. If Blizzard agrees, action will be taken. You can expedite the process by getting all the others he is inconveniencing by having them all report as well.

You can do this while flying to Ironforge, or while taking the Deeprun tram.

Is it annoying? Yes.

Can you do something more productive than complaining about it here? Also yes.

Not in this case it’s not because it’s PvP related. Blizzard views PvP problems as having PvP solutions. If it was a huge inconvenience, then people should group up and kill him.

Honestly, I play on mg too. The issue is the alliance on mg fan girl over horde in SW. So it doesn’t help. But no it is not griefing in this case.

To counter this, if you’re playing with humans then sometimes they are going to do something you don’t want them to and which can be considered as rule breaking. If they can’t abide by the rules of WoW, which are supposed to be “Play nice, play fair.” among many other rules it would take a while to list but you should’ve already read - you should indeed consider a single player game.
