It’s pretty hilarious to be RPing around the corner and suddenly hear the fighting, while a crap ton of 60s stand around and watch, doing nothing.

OP acting like there aren’t two dozen or so people standing around SW on their longbois at any given time.
If you edit your title and post with the proper answer you got to your query maybe it would end.

I haven’t been around quite as long, however I do remember instances in late vanilla/early TBC where action was taken on people chain killing NPC’s like quest givers or even auctioneers. Granted it wasn’t all the time but around a dozen people or so I used to play regularly with got hit with various length suspensions for it, YMMV. It appeared as if it really just depended on what GM took charge of the issue.
These days? Probably not, again it was a different thing back in the earlier years. Or maybe my time seeing that on CC was a massive outlier, YMMV. Then again might just different experiences than the RP servers you were on.

Meh, i’m just callsin its likes i sees it. There doesn’t seem to be much reason to continue posting in a thread like this other than to argue. The questions been answered over and over again and continuing to discuss it is pointless.
Random musing here but, logically, the banks and AH’s should have powerful, elite guards in them. These are the places where all the gold trades hands.

Why don’t I ever see Alliance going into Orgrimmar and killing off the horde? They come into SW daily now and kill the NPCS.
When I first started playing WoW I truly enjoyed participating with gigantic packs of characters killing off the opposite faction in the main cities.
It was a lot of fun.
Haven’t seen that happen in more than a decade.
Same reason anyone else does i guess? Cuz i got somethin to say
