Night Elf Paladins first, itâs overdue.
Personally, I would want to here the WoD Draenei version of the events before I just accept the word of the Maghar. Not that I wouldnât mind seeing the Light on the offense for once and I totally wouldnât blame the Draenei if the story is true. After all would you feel comfortable living next to a race that nearly wiped out your race in TWO different time lines?
Iâm all down for more race/class combinations in WoW so long as they flavor them properly. In regards to the light alone its been 18 years and all priests and paladins are still human flavored. Human and Dwarf paladins should be the only ones with angel wings (at least by default) and Tauren and Zandalari paladins should not be forced to wear Western-inspired knight armor. Night Elf priests should also be using white lunar light instead of the generic golden holy energy.
As for Orc paladins, they honestly make way more sense to me than Orc priests. If paladins in WoW really began as just some human warriors who picked up a few light tricks to fight the demonic-backed Horde, itâd make more sense for a warrior culture such as the orcs to just pick up some light spells casually before fully commiting to the whole priest lifestyle.
