Just check Quel‘Danil Lodge … the Quests … ^^
You are wrong .

Its not muddied, YOU’RE making it hard on yourself because you wanna force it into the game:

Blood-elves became something different after the nexus-prince screwed them over. You dont need to overthink this until you’re blue in the face.

they.
are.
different.

they’ve been changed. They’ve been altered. They’re now DIFFERENT. PERIOD. Same exact reason why High Elves are now different than NIGHT ELVES whom they used to be as well. THEY’RE NOW DIFFERENTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

christ all mighty.

no offense but recent lore suggests this guy doesnt know how to write. Most lore people are appalled by his current story-telling. If he wants to confuse people saying “HEY GUYS EVERY RACE IS EVERY RACE LOL”, then thats your mess to work out.

nobody cares what you roleplay as. Anyone who does is a moron. You wanna roleplay as a dragon named Fred, go do it. But dont come into the forums saying Fred the Dragon is canonical because #reasons.

First two color types are not blonde. They are pale. The third one is blonde but they used the darker version of blonde in game.

But they didn’t? And we can actually see the Draenei’s during the warfronts, and in numerous assaults’ while High elves were notably absent. When Alleria assists the Alliance in fighting Undercity, she’s accompanied solely by Void elves, with High elves notably absent once again.

Only one Blood elf was involved, and he was secretly working for Garrosh. The blood elves were browbeaten into working for Garrosh, but they did not participate in violating the neutrality in Dalaran.

In fact, at that point they were already considering leaving the Horde to escape Garrosh.

You mean during an expansion where the Alliance and Horde put aside their differences and coordinated the joint attack on the Lich King? And open warfare? You have any citations of this beyond Silver Covenant Guards?

And if I remember correctly many High elves did not align themselves with either partisan groups, and are seen working together in many of the tents scattered around the Argent grounds.

Did…did you play WotLK?

Yes, and I don’t recall any instances or quests that involve the Horde fighting the Silver Covenant, or High elves. Care to cite?

Uuuh, in that very same raid we have a flying ship battle with one another.

And no High elves were on that ship…

We already have NEW LORE showing new blood/high elves learning the ways of the void. We also know change from void does not neccesarily lead to physical ones as shown by Alleria, a person who call herself a void elf.

Also, if a Stormwind Citizen suddenly renounces his citizenship and joins Kul Tiras he would be a "Kul Tiran human"by every definition of the word. The same applies here, that calling someone void/blood/high elf has little practical value/not really something people in Azeroth care about.

Except we are told it is canonical that a characters in Warcraft do not care at all about the supposed “racial distinctions” we are all debating about it is CANNONICAL that people can call themselves void elves/high elf at the same time. Heck, Moira can call herself both Dark Iron/Bronzebeard because that is what she identifies as.

Did you play Alliance at the time? Because if you did this is like asking me to cite the sky being blue.

They are still present in BFA. One example being the Stromgarde Warfront. As well as Portal masters & they have an Island Expedition team. Why are only the Silver Covenant held to this standard? That there needs to be legions of them present all the time to prove they’re part of the Alliance? By this token i guess the Cult of the Forgotten Shadow is neutral since they didnt really play a prominent role in BFA either. Or perhaps even the Blood Elf Farstriders? They weren’t on the frontlines of every single military engagement of BFA.

I was thinking the same thing. The Silver Covenant are evil Alliance soldiers when the purge of Dalaran is brought up, but when it comes to proving High Elves are part of the Alliance they become neutral.

But they didn’t need to be?

She can’t respond to your argument … Because of that she plays the coin of „double standards“ …
The High elves in the Hinterlands fought against the Forsaken. With Draenei.

I mentioned this would happen. So… always having to leave this here:

"According to a dev interview Ion gave several months ago, Blood Elves were originally unintended to have blue eyes in Shadowlands, but later on that decision was reversed following team discussions. If the art department was involved, what was the reasoning that led to blue eyes being added for Void Elves and Blood Elves?

This is another place where there was a race, High Elves, in the game which hadn’t really been represented on player characters. Blood Elves were the closest, but had felt green eyes. It was an opportunity where we had a number of elven races, and we could tie it back to their roots, letting players choose where they want to align and what fantasy to play out. We did have a lot of discussion about it, ultimately we might do more in the future, but for now we’re providing the option to have a few High Elf customizations available."

Thank you! Finally, proof that they are letting player choose/align and do whatever we want in a FANTASY race. And we literally have lore that backs why a high elf can become a void elf.
