I don’t know where you got that I was opposed to him being cancelled. I completely think he should never work in the industry again. My point was that if you’re going to base all your purchasing decisions by what some of their current of past employees have done, then you’ll have a rough time in life.

Well there wasn’t enough information to determine how bad it was. These things are not binary. There is a scaling level of severity and I would call that minor based on what was stated.
I feel sick that some narcissist thinks he knows something and is libeling someone’s character without due process.

What he and others have done is horrible, and I hope they and anyone who helped sweep this stuff under the rug all face serious consequences for their actions.
I’m not going to quit WoW over it though, the game and it’s lore are a lot more than just those disgusting people who’ve been involved in its development, plenty of good people have and do work on this game as well.

Not really. If there were any offenses then there should/would be a lawsuit, whether the offenses were minor or severe. You don’t just not file a lawsuit because someone barely broke the law.
The severity would affect the damages awarded though.

Yes and you said that a lawsuit after 2 years of investigation implies severe wrongdoing. It doesn’t necessarily. The offenses could be minor as they are obligated to file a suit after investigation if any offenses are found, regardless of the severity.
Also, you don’t seem to understand that the government has many, many cases going at a time. It isn’t like they worked on the Blizzard case every day for 2 years. The government takes forever to do anything.
Factor in covid, which has been going on for 15 or 16 months, and it’s not surprising that it took so long.
