what??? First I do play druid too.
And, it seems like not a nerf but more like a bug IMO.
They are the worst tank class in the game.
The fact that you think druid bears are going to take over dps charts in 8.3 is laughable.

I love/hate my druid and this is the sad fact.
Luckily, resto and boomkin are incredible. I have a brew and BDK if I want to tank.
IDK to be exact. but on damage report clearly showing 10% of dmg from brambles and all rest of it from his azerite essence. Nothing else with gears, buffs or talents etc. It’s on damage report.
Only 905? I can do 60k-80k per enemy in an aoe with a tank essence. If you’re going off a short clip with an essence used, yea, for a small amount of time a tank can have massive dps.
Ok, I will bite, what essence does 30k DPS AFK?
Then stop jumping to conclusions without knowing the details perhaps?

keep in mind damage numbers are probably gonna skyrocket this patch, we’re getting corruption scaling another essence slot and the usual ilvl jump. 30k is all things considered probably gonna be low end damage in a month at least. Wouldn’t be surprising if 70k-100k dps sustained is in the cards for higher end single target.
Anyone else getting the webpage to come up on in a foreign language as well?

dang you got me, fixed it.
Maybe Null Barrier, activated as a major? The tank couldn’t be AFK though, since it’s an on-use ability.

Maybe? I mean you can beam to some pretty stupid burst, but that is active and there is that “do ludicrous AOE once every two minutes” trinket as well. But all essences/trinkets/abilities that I know of that produce that kind of burst are actively triggered.
Since the complaining player is a mage, I’m thinking he attacked a druid, who activated null barrier, which absorbed the mage’s Greater Pyroblast (since it’s the only spell they ever cast) and then expired, inflicting damage on the mage equal to the damage absorbed by the null barrier.
And then the mage flipped out because he took a bunch of damage.
And then he came to complain about Druids, even though a Warrior could have just spell reflected it…
completely untrue. I saw a mage just last week cast an ice lance so it happened at least once this expansion!
