After all these years, having Summon Darkglare remains the least exciting damage CD to press of all the DPS classes in the game. Bringing out an ugly little turret that acts like a worse Doomguard is as boring as it gets, and we still can’t have an option for an alternative at all, either mechanically or visually. It makes me sick, and worse yet in Midnight I get to see it more often than before. Why can’t I just opt out?

Don’t forget we lose the ability to customize it because of the armor talent. So not only are we stuck with it, we can’t even make it less ugly to look at

Imagine if Dark Soul: Misery had an updated aura visual and was just left in. I would even accept just getting it to be reworked to have all the benefits Darkglare has with an extra DoT pulse. I’m just sick of looking at this hideous beast and relying on LoS for its damage.

I like the beholder, he’s cool. mechanically its far more interesting than having Misery which is just a haste buff too. Demons are a core part of Warlocks identity.
Being able to choose our demon was part of that. Give us it all or nothing.

I have always maintained my opinion that the Inquisitor demon fits better as the ‘ultimate’ summon for Affliction.
The Legion Remix’s Twisted Crusade talent simply further proves my point that:
1, no one can literally mistake the Inquisitor as a ‘player’, thus no such thing as ‘confusion’, and
2, it uses similar animation like casting a drain spell. How is that not a fit with Affliction?!
That’s my opinion, and i’m sticking to it.
