Only asking to boost dmg and get it on par with the current health pools and massive dmg classes are putting out. Im pvp gear lvl 486 and still constanly get passed up for arenas and RBG’s because people view it as too weak. Please look into this because I love this spec but its harder then it should be to play in its current state
I also play all lock specs and I feel like the damage is good on affliction but it’s single target burst just isn’t really there right now but I feel like that’s by design unfortunately. They want it to be a dampening rot spec and rn the meta doesn’t really seem built around that.
Aff is still great in RBG’s though.

People definitely do “meta slave” to a degree, but I dont think thats why youre being passed up.
Respectfully, you have over twice as many losses as you have wins. I recognize that some of those are surely out of your control, but if a player has relatively low XP and objectively loses two games for every game they win in their most played bracket, then I’d be hesitant about playing with them as well.
Aff is very good in rbgs and would be the meta spec if it wasnt for the prevalence of MW and revival being OP.
Thats not an aff problem, its a MW revival problem.
I think if you focused on fundamentals like cc and positioning you’d find that aff is more than fine in arena and rbgs, even if its not as meta as the other two specs.
P.S. aff will almost certainly get buffed “soon” for pve reasons that will inevitably bleed into pvp.

In shuffle Affliction is #2 for average DPS and #10 for burst DPS per WoW Arena Logs. Also #22 for winrate, which is overall poor but still puts them ahead of quite a number of specs.

I have been told straight out its because im playing aff many times. As far as wins and losses 100% out of my control on YOLO all the GD time I have no solid team

did aff get shadow buffed? Was watching Jaggz (god tier destro lock) play and every match he played was against an aff lock team. Not sure if it was just a coincidence or what but they seemed really hard to kill
Not really eu has always had a decent representation of aff

Yes they scale stupidly well
Affl dmg is fine, the problem is single target burst and the frequency of allies dispelling dots esp on burst in shuffle is pain and suffering. All 3 warlock specs feel strong.

Aff is good in rbgs on select maps such as fc maps because it gets neutered by mist weaver on team fight maps
In 3v3 arena you can do 200k dps if left to free cast
Select maps and get passed up 90% of the time if there is a demo or destro in the same lobby. Rotational advice? Keep dots up and drain life and soul its not rocket science. But I marked you for trolling anyways so just stop posting pls
