Warlocks live in these boomers heads rent free. Imagine thinking lock is OP in an era where all regular rank 1 locks stopped playing.
Lock is definitely OP at times, I’m pretty sure this lock was running some gimmicky build a mf unit
It can heal for quite a bit if not disrupted, yes.
if I were to speculate on this chain of events.
I’d say the priest was on fumes, the lock pet was chewing on him to prevent drinks, and u guys didnt dispose of it, or he resummoned it.
If he was kicked he ran around the pillar and kept curse of exhaustion on u spammed. Drain spammed in between and dark pact’d ur combust/lined what he could.
Kept dots and drain spammed rinse repeat
until u finally locked him down long enuff to kill it.
Also he prob kept healing with coil, and he if dropped combat he gets healthstone refresh.
I literally duel decent locks all day and night, fire mage outside of combust has a really tough time doing dmg and lock will crush urs, so if ur priest is on fumes and hes rotting/lining and drain spamming it could potentially play out this way.
Next time just fake him and get him in a nova, and poly into mind games/combust with ur DC ring going. With DC ring u should be able to blow up pact decently enuff.
Think of the drain spam thing like an arcane mage missle, just watch the faking pattern he is trying on the cancels to bait ur cs too.
Is it possible the lock was just a good player, and you could’ve learned from this and play better in the future?
Says a mage, whos class is always top tier…
Also the real issue in the game is MM & BM hunters. But for some reason we don’t talk about that.
