Then again, there is feral off healing, outlaw survival, fury healing and uptime, etc Plenty of broken thing. If they adjust locks they should adjust other classes survival tools.

Before the current season the only time you’d see aff lock was when someone was using that CoE legendary. It was painful to play against and boring to play as a lock.

Idk, that seems awful heavy handed to me. The really big heals come from soul rot effecting a lot of targets plus inevitable demise. Soul rot having a longer CD would make sense so they don’t always have that get out Jail card.
I think if they nerfed drain life then demon armor should come back. Melee still rip aff apart. They can drain tank for a bit but will eventually get interrupted and then an armorless lock is literally defenseless.

Drain is the only way the class functions, its got poor defensives. You would either kill the spec with a healing nerf or have to compensate them with a flat physical damage reduction so they could still be played.
Between drain healing, the conduit, and the buffed drain damage reduction I think they’d like for the class to have a decent bit of its survival in both drain and then of course its mobility.
You know, to avoid the BFA Warlock issue of just being a ball of stats that sits in the middle of the arena.

I like the kiting aspect of warlock atm, you can’t just sit in and tank ret war cd’s.

Yeah, certainly a little more interactive than simply taking 10-20% less physical damage.
yeah I’m sure you or your teammate pressed interrupt on UA or Soul Rot, so the lock drained to full health. I woooonder what you could have done differently. Just play a lock ya giant turd sack. You can be completely aware that a lock can heal to full but you’re not aware enough to make sure it doesn’t happen. Sounds like it’s a “get better” issue

I would post all the little know tips that completely cuck aff but everyone just rages about them rather than asking for help
And there definitely are tricks, it’s fun running at other locks in rbgs and just 100-0ing them even without needing to drain heal bc they’re just pve bots
