Soo I logged over today on my toon that has been sitting in Deepholm for a while to queue for Headless Horseman Mount. I have it there because I occasionally try to farm the Aeonaxx mount and have had no luck with it. Butttt, today, as I logged over without even trying to look for it, it was right above my pretty little head. I didn’t get HH mount, but I finally got the Aeonaxx mount today!

I spent an entire summer doing almost nothing but Aeonaxx farming. It was til much later when i was randomly flying through Deepholm (i think to get the Pebbles pet) that i finally had the fated encounter with the elusive mount.

Omg i remember when i was fairly new to the game, and so one day i decided to farm aenoaxx, and was ready to give up around 20 minutes in, and long behold it spawned right in front of me

Congrats on getting that mount. I got it myself when I was making my final push for the 400 mount achievement. I got Voidtalon in a similar manner. I would occasionally fly around Draenor looking for the portals but not make a real effort to farm it. Ironically I found a portal when I was sitting at 399 mounts so Voidtalon brought me to 400 getting the Green one.

So, been farming this mount for quite some time now. I’ve seen pics, and I know all the spawn points… but cant seem to pin down exactly how far up the dragon flies. Anyone know?
