Adventures in Classic Hardcore: What’s Playing

don’t underestimate the harpies…that is all

oh and blizz…give a reward for anyone that can complete the challenge plz. you’ll want to incentivize the mode, and be good to the players this time… or it’s gonna die faster than SoM.

please tell me the company can create a better experience than a third party addon…
:100:

you’re not going to name them all the same will you?

i expected them to replace the ‘release’ button with a ‘reset’ button. Keep the name, appearance, UI, addons etc but return toon to level 1 and spawn location, reset everything to fresh toon and allow the player to seamlessly go again.

but they didnt do that so naming is … yeah.

could even add a reset counter…

so many small ideas that could’ve been fun.

It’s called your character you just spent 2 weeks grinding on went “poof” because you accidentally aggroed 2 extra adds.

Also as seen on D4, Alt F4 to quickly try to DC before you die. People literally do not wanna play true hardcore, they just want to pretend they did.

I’m pretty sure you have a delay in this game disconnecting would get you killed

So does D4(10 seconds) and they still manage to somehow successfully dc before dying some of the time, not always thought.

I wish luck to whoever is playing this! I probably wont…It just doesn’t sound like fun to me…especially if you die to something out of your control like a disconnect, for example. And the petri-flask (basically bubble-hearth for everyone) seems like a get out of jail free card to me.

Asmongold has talked a few times about why hardcore mode is dumb and just doesn’t work in a game like WoW.

They will unlock the Sword of 1000 Truth ; oh wait you’re class can’t use swords fk. lol

The wording on the article is pretty exciting. Ending with a ‘You only live once’ what a challenge. Good luck adventurers
