It’s ok that the test didn’t work, but the lack of communication to tell us if we should even bother to keep trying is what annoyed me.
I understand the point of these tests, but wasting time trying to login if it’s not helpful for them, that’s not really acceptable.
I mean, people who actually logged on got server messages while playing, those trying to login didn’t get a single post.
Your opinion, but you don’t get to tell me to shut up without some clap back. I liked her fine until she started trashing Classic, claiming it was going to take resources away from WoW and that classic people were terrible. So, yeah, then I stopped viewing. If you don’t like what I type about her, best you shut up. Don’t like what I say? Don’t read it. Simple as that.
Guys, look at all these streamers. In a single zone! Counting all the others there must be 20k streamers in the stress test at least!

I… don’t know if you do. Yes. The whole point is to keep hammering it as long as possible whether you are in or not. The more stuff we break the more data they have.
I agree, a simple “Thanks guys, weve seen what we needed to. No need to keep trying.” would have gone a long way. Upside here is we definitely provided some stress for them to analyze. Heres hoping August 27th will go differently
That’s my job… it’s kind of pointless to continue if they are working on a fix or already found the issue, you’re just spamming the same problem over and over and they already know about it.
That’s my point, nobody doing QA would do it blind without communication.
I keep seeing new things popping up even as of right now. The streamer I’m watching is running into a really odd bug upon login. So I repeat, yes, keep trying.

Only wish I could have participated in the fun. Not so lucky this time so I will stress their login like no tomorrow. 
I think a lot of people’s salt is just that. When some get preferential treatment and others only have luck. The streamer thing is an assumption. I might have just been too slow.
Character creation has timed out.
Streamers aren’t really official Blizzard employees last time I checked.
It’s still not working, and there is still no info about it. It’s like they actually locked the server but it still lets you go to the character creation screen… I mean, that’s one major bug if it’s true, meaning a ton of people wasted time trying to create a character when the server was locked.
A simple word saying that you cannot create characters at the moment on forums or twitter would have done the job. “We’re experiencing problem at the moment so we disabled character creation we’ll let you know when it’s available again”… so easy.
If you don’t see this as a problem, then I can’t do anything about it.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I was getting 502 errors when I would come to the forums to post about the problems I was having. If I wasn’t getting the 502 erros, it kept telling me that, due to load, the screen I was viewing had the appearance as if I was logged out - or words to that effect. I couldn’t even stay logged into my account in the browser to access their forums. So accessing the forums was also fruitless during the entire 2 hour stress test.
Basically, this was SO badly managed as to be laughable, if it weren’t also so pathetically sad. All I can hope for is that Classic as a game doesn’t show any of the poor management that this stress test has shown.
And back to “offline”. Weird, the streamers are somehow playing while being offline. Very sad state of testing indeed.

Its not free advertising for Blizzard, its free advertising for streamers using Classic beta to milk subs and donations out of Blizzards customers base.
They reopened the actual beta servers, but the stress test server is getting a restart.
I just love how the post says still available for play until Thursday, May 23 at 6:00pm PDT. Then tell me why the stress test server is showing as offline!!! I guess only the streamers and lucky chosen few non streamers got to enjoy it. F the rest of us i guess.

What do you expect? Blizzard has one goal with a stress test.
Having streamers advertising your game to 200,000 people is a huge bonus to free marketing and revenue that would be idiotic to not use. Of course they’re going to let popular streamers in, why wouldn’t they?
This isn’t launch day. This isn’t the actual release. It’s a stress test.
You entitled players and blizzard have two different expectations from a stress test. You think stress test is there for you to play unhindered and enjoy classic wow. Blizzard has it there to STRESS TEST. I don’t know how stupid you have to be to not realize that.
If you want to play classic your own way, play the beta, or wait until release. I didn’t get invited to beta or the stress test and I’m not whining everywhere about it.
I’m glad the game is being tested and will hopefully be ready for launch day. That’s all I care about. Getting your panties in a bunch because you didn’t get to level 5 is stupid.
