When you called me the single worse representative of the player base simply for disagreeing with you.
If you look REALLY hard, you’ll see the words “I think I’ve ever seen.”
Wanna try again?
If only there was some system that was added back in Wrath that would make low level dungeons accessible and convenient for players. So maybe they wouldn’t feel the need to just pay someone to run them through. Too bad.
I’m quite content. I’ve been asking for dungeon farms/boosts to be broken for a couple years, now.
It’s a good change.
For you to think I’m the worst representative of the player base, it would require you to also think the player base thinks as you do.
Otherwise, if you thought the player base didn’t see me as the worst, then how could I be the worst?
I don’t see how my assessment of your sentence is wrong here.
But whatever, this conversation has gone on long enough and should have ended on the agree to disagree.
No… Just no.
I can think the President of the US is the worst rep of the country and yet not think that others feel that way.
Are you REALLY this dense or are you just messing with me?
Yes exactly. A great game will bring in a great community. Vanilla WoW proved this.
Yeah… that’s not how it works… GTA V is a phenomenal game but have you been online in that lately?
Guess words have different meaning where you and I live.
“I think the president is the worst representative of the country.” isn’t the same as saying “The president is the single worst representative of the people I think I’ve ever seen.”
It’s the EXACT same thing. The educational system failed you, I’m so sorry.
GTA V single player is the phenomenal game, and GTA V online is not an MMO. But I get why you would be skeptical taking my word for it. To each their own.
It SURE is!
I don’t think you’re expected to represent anyone but yourself as a CC member. You don’t need to seek anyone’s approval.
Ultimately it is good to be cracking down on the RMT and gold for boost services. My wish is that I could still have the option to essentially boost myself using just myself. RMT can die, paid gold boosts can die, etc I just liked what i had going on personally.
You know, I boosted one toon with a second account once back in the day (Recruit-a-friend.) Ultimately, I don’t think that affects the game all that much. Being able to farm old dungeons for loot/cloth is also something I have enjoyed doing.
However, the behavior of a huge chunk of players in Classic makes me think we’re better off without such things. Players find every single mechanic that can be abused, and they make sure they abuse it to the max.
This i think is my major annoyance as to why people, i guess “self boosting”, are essentially being punished because of bad faith actors selling runs and creating a meta where its perceived as the only way to level through content.
People ruining things for everyone else is a pet peeve for sure.
Thank you for taking necessary steps to protect the integrity of Classic. You will make many people angry who have become addicted to convenience and shortcuts, and hopefully those players will return to retail where they belong.
Please consider removing all character power (read: 60/70 boosts) from the official store for the exact same reasons.
You are being very aggressive and rude over a difference of opinion related to a video game. There are merits to perspectives other than your own that do not warrant personal attacks.
I agree with Mispeled that trading BoJ/ArenaPoints/Raid gear to others would be a net negative. This is a permitted opinion, and I would argue (you may disagree) that this is exactly the spirit of classic and why it exists as an alternative.

I mean, if questing wasn’t such a miserable experience boosting wouldn’t have caught on. It’s the meta in part because it’s fast, the other part is because leveling is otherwise boring as all hell and there’s significant demand for a way to side step it as much as possible.
Whether it’s a toggleable xp buff, RDF or something else. I think that removing boosting is fine, provided that there’s something to replace it as a reasonable alternative to solo grinding quests. Otherwise some other farm will pop up at some point that may be even more degenerate.

Not a personal attack - it’s an observation, which seems to be accurate.
