More so probably “People are doing healer in delves and not in lower mythic at the numbers we want. That can’t happen. Destroy tank Brann so at least some of them will be forced into the M+ ecosystem!”

This change has no purpose. So Bran tank is just Bran dps but does less DPS than regular DPS Bran.
Tank Bran took damage quite a bit in my 8’s, let alone higher delves. I had to heal him as a resto shaman quite a bit because his AI is horrible.

Because when Blizz introduces a little bit of content that allows for more casual gameplay, the hyper-competitive, week 1 Mythic raiders and key-pushers get a hair up their butt and start frothing at the mouth because they salty when they feel all their hard work is somehow devalued. You should have seen the overwhelmingly negative and salty reactions when they introduced Raid Finder at the end of Cataclysm.

tank brann isnt even that good.
he cant tank anything without dying in tier 8s

You should use some common sense. The fact brand was nerfed so heavily is an example.
People weren’t clearing t11 delves in season 1 in dragon flight gear which is what clearing these delves in 590 gear is equal too.
Commenting again to make sure this thread doesn’t have a chance of getting buried. Absolutely indefensible changes. Change it back. Right now.

Oh, I was there. I started 2 weeks before TBC launched. I was here for the more casual (yet a bit more time consuming) phase of wow. The real sweat started to seep in during MoP with CM modes then the same in WoD and Legion (for as much as I do like that expansion) opened the sweat floodgates with M+. It wasn’t as bad at first but the more time went on the sweatier M+ got. The key squish that happened in DF S4 made it absolutely nothing but a sweat mode.

They obviously overnerfed him and will be forced to buff him again as NO ONE IS GOING TO USE HIM ANYMORE.
For being the biggest game company in the world it seems like major decisions are made by one guy on a whim with little critical thought on the results who seems to be just guessing.
What playtesting went into these changes? ZERO!!!

“Healing-focused playstyle” doesn’t mean you spend literally all your time ignoring mechanics and keeping him alive while he solos the entire room. They want healers in delves to be a bit more engaged than that, such as being careful about pulls, using CC and helping him with damage.
And they did effectively lower mob health for solo healers in delves, by making Brann give us a pretty hefty damage buff.
Yeah, the Standard Operating Procedure at this point should be Beta>>Feedback>>Push-to-Patch or not.
They don’t actually care about making Brann’s specs equal. If they did they would have buffed his dps spec in S1. Healer Brann has always been far and away the best choice. Tank Brann had like a week of being useful before they nerfed that into the ground.
Honestly they should just remove any role for Brann other than healer and focus their time on making his ai smarter than a doorknob instead of wasting time finding new ways to nerf dps/tank brann.

you have not tho , again one hero gear a week is not game breaking… your fighting randoms because of what reason ? tank bran is basically 20% then what he was and will still stand in AOE and kill him self …

Of course they weren’t because they had to level and got new gear from the leveling process, Why would you even make that comparison? It doesn’t work. No one would have kept on their old gear on after leveling.

Snozay’s one of the regulars around here who it’s better to just not engage in an argument with. One of those who thinks they ‘know’ more than they do, y’know? I’m guilty of it at times myself but I’m trying to be better about it.
