Devmode Having spent some time on the servers in the past few days I have to say that the slow pace, the resource cost of fights (health and mana loss), travel speed and lack of many of the handholding UI elements made me realize something - I do not feel pressure to log in and do the check-boxes. No timers, no daily quests, no things-i-must-do-now-now-now or fall behind. I don't feel assaulted by tasks (yes I know I do NOT HAVE TO DO THEM, but that's the bridge jumping argument in a game that now forces elitism and gearscore selection for even the most mundane of runs).
Feels very methodical, serene.
And people are friendly, say thank you for buffs and food, not an interaction that happens now since that's obsolete. Social niceness is back.
Totally agree. The questing is meaningful and nice. Take your time, enjoy each quest and the slow upgrades that come in small increments. Will make hitting level 60 a pretty cool accomplishment. I think classic will be a big hit!
