Oh! I mean if it’s not a lot of work, since the Add-on itself is made, I’d terribly love that!
If you needed a group partner I’m playing for a few hours more today.
I would take you up on that offer, but I checked and my roommate who has playing WoW but has since stopped, still has 14 days left on their subscription. So I’m currently borrowing one of their characters to test with after I transferred over the version of PLH that has the non-group errors fixed to their computer.

Well have confirmed the hyperlink issue, essentially the mod has a custom tooltip, and the custom tooltip object doesn’t have the :SetHyperLink method which from looking at the code it should, trying to track that down, once I do if that fixes everything I’ll put a link here.

Fixing it will take a bit longer than expected after having tracked that down, but I will update once its done.

Have it with no errors and bringing up the window on loot drops for the person getting the loot, but it isn’t showing as being offered to the other party (both mail users, know that the other char doesn’t have the look), but almost there.
When Blizzard squished levels in SL, the ability to do old raids became more difficult as dungeon and raid levels increased significantly. Right now best transmog feature is available in the mounts/pets/transmogs collection popup window (Not the transmogrifier NPC/Mount)…
Well it turns out updating that specific mod is going to be a more involved process than I thought, so I wrote one that is specifc to just what you were looking for without the extra bells and whistles it has (nothing for checking if gear is upgrades etc…, it is purely for transmog runs)
Currently it will show in chat a message only when looting an equipable gear if the current character already knows the look and may want to share it, doesn’t know the look and if they want to share it, or could learn it.
If someone in the party loots an equippable that the current character could learn the look for (doesn’t already know, right armor class or a weapon they can use, etc…) it will mention it, with an optional sound (single auction house bell)
I hope it helps, it doesn’t quite specifically say ‘the other person in the group doesn’t have this’ yet, but if both use the mod and/or the optional sound is turned on it will let you know when the other loots something you could learn the look for.
I will get a simple communication going so it can say that, but figured as this fits what was asked currently, I’d share it now, and I’ll put it on curse after it does have that and an optional minimum rarity.

If only you have the addon, it will let you know when looting a piece if your character knows the look or can’t learn the look and if they would want to share, or could learn the look (can toggle off these with /sts personal). And if someone else in the party loots an item your character could learn (right armor class/useable weapon and don’t already know the look) it’ll let you know with an optional sound (can turn off with /sts sounds)
If you and someone else like your husband are both using the addon, then it will also let you know if someone else using it could learn the look of an item you looted (again if the right armor class/useable weapon and don’t know the look already for them) with same optional sound (can turn off being mentioned of others with /sts others)
And lastly can set a minimum rarity you’d like to see mentions for, default is all learnable looks (greys and above) but /sts rarity can be set to any level (grey white green/uncommon, blue/rare, purple/epic, orange/legendary) etc…
