if rogues get 2sec or whatever it is, wouldn’t a druid be better at it? a slick creature of the forest etcetc is worse than that clumsy human/dwarf rogue over there? yay logic.
and now a 400 pound tauren rogue also gets smoother stealth than feral? ok… but how?
“blizz plz” =D

Whoa whoa whoa, first homogenize the healers and give them all the same battle rez, THEN we’ll talk. Mmkay?

yeah, no. separate issue entirely. its not binary. you can make such a simple and minor change such as changing the prowl cd as well AND all the other stuff on their to do list…
Lets never do that ok. Not all classes/specs are built equal and thats ok. Pros and cons.

Rogues are agile AF, literally their main stat, how do you figure they are clumsy?
youre kinda going off on a tangent there, mate
blizz, prowl CD down to 2sec just like rogues, pls. let the magical jungle cat, probly MORE stealthy than something like… dunno, a dwarf… be just as quick with that cd as a rogue is.

What I said wasn’t tangental if this is your argument, chum.

Yes tell me again how the jack of all trades is better than the specialist

Druids are mimicking wildlife. Rogues are using shadow magic to hide. There’s a reason why Rogues can just walk around in front of you and you still can’t see them.

sounds like a big assumption on your part.
in any case, NONE of this, even if true, is a reason for the clunky-ness of the prowl CD. why do you ppl seem against it? why do you care? seems to be some cuckery on the forums these days.
dont be typical humans pls.
blizz, fix prowl and you’ll be awesome =D
OK then as a druid I vote no to this. Not only are balancing issues around this problematic lets look at the lore of the debate at hand. We are just transforming into big cats, we shouldnt have stealth period while rogues actually use magic in order to go invisible
balancing issues do not exist regarding this. theres nothing wrong with a druid going back to stealth after 2sec if out of combat… just like rogues do.
kinda sucks just standing there waiting for it to tick down, /sigh. clunky, clumsy.
long ago it was 10sec which was even more awful, heh
Feral druid isn’t a rogue
They don’t act the same
And like someone said earlier, rogue uses shadow magic, druids use environment as camouflage
I imagine Druids are using some kind of nature magic for their stealth, and considering Druids are masters of nature magic and Rogues are hardly masters of magic, I’d say that Druids should get a 1 second cooldown on their stealth.
heh.

But my Druid jumps in front of people and they can’t detect him.
Joking aside, I’d see no issue as long as that 2s cooldown reduction is only for the Feral specialization, because some (or one?) of it’s attacks work based on stealth.
Would still not be homogenized since Rogues have whole toolkits around it. But don’t see any problem with it now.
That said, I’ve not played Feral in a long time, so can’t know how bad it’d feel to wait 4 seconds.
sure thing
ill expect rsham heroism and ankh on my rdruid in return
Except druids can drop combat instantly so you could drop 2 full 5 combo point finishers on an enemy without using a major.
Racism and fat shaming in the same sentence? It’s 2023.
jokes aside… since thats what some of you seem to be mostly doing…
rogue stealth cd is 2sec, current druid prowl cd is 6seconds. it used to be 10, they lowered it after some ppl complained, probly cuz it takes 6 sec to also drop combat. fine. but its still rather clunky. theres no reason it cant be the same 2sec as what rogues get.
if theres anything mAgIcAL!#$ about stealth, then… whos gonna be more on top of that magic stuff, a rogue or a druid?
=D
no one, and nothing, ever said a damn thing about rogues suddenly using sHaDoW mAgIc to do what they do. somehow, they have shadow dmg these days on some stuff, but whatever.
point being, lets not go up down and around the corner with this, doing mental jumping jacks to justify stuff that makes little sense about rogues.
AND, even if one were to grant all that (regarding rogues)… even tho we cant/shouldnt… its STILL no reason druid cant also have a 2sec on stealth. even if its just feral spec, then again i see no reason it has to be spec-specific.
