Additional Resurrections for Deaths due to DDoS - April 24 and May 11

We’ve completed a second pass on characters lost during the April 24 DDoS, and additionally resurrected characters that died during the DDoS yesterday, May 11.

All of the above took place on the Doomhowl realm.

Why May 11th and not May 3rd, that customer service and event blizzard blue post acknowledged was a ddos event. Seriously upsetting that a 20 year blizzard subscriber/player and seems when events happen to me it doesn’t matter. How do you judge which ddos events make you go back and REZ. I even posted on the forums per suggestion of blizzard customer service to log the event as many did, and still nothing…very disappointing.

My hardcore character died to a series of disconnects on 5/7. The IGN is Tentåriser, Doomhowl - Alliance, level 45. I am absolutely crushed by his death as I work over 100 hours and week and have been squeezing in a bit of time here and there to level him. I have video evidence of him dying during a DC and comments from other players also disconnecting, both in game and on the doomhowl discord server.

Thankfully Sillyanne was talking about having to log in to see your character move from ghost in the menu!

Thank you! I was so not ready to quit, but it’s such a punch to the gut losing a character in a way that is wholly outside of your control. And I get I get I get that’s the game mode… things happen! But thank you for not letting malicious creatures like the ones behind the DDOS get away with it.
