I dont know what you expect. Premades are never going away. People like you have been asking about it for almost 20 years now. Just make your own group.

excuse me, I misspoke… the vast majority of the people coming to these forums are saying that these classes are OP, and to stop letting premades play against pugs or limit premades to 5m max.
that subsequently however means that theres way more people in game that also feel this way that don’t go to the forums.
I’ve never seen four such obvious and uncontroversial changes spawn so many replies in so little time

Ooooooh good. Now in addition to griefing the raid with bad DPS, I can also grief the healers as I take 300 self inflicted damage every 12 seconds.
Tell me you don’t know what to do with shadow without telling me you don’t know what to do with shadow…

i get the idea here but they really need to make SWD also… idunno… grant us some mana back? and probably do less than full self damage?

Or be worth casting? It has never once been a primary source of DPS without an external set bonus related to it. It is not worth pressing, is not engaging, and in PVE is just bad. Taking full backlash and buffing the crap out of the damage… the only benefit that will have is avoiding durability loss on a wipe.
They need to switch Void Plague and SW:Death so we can use Void Plague and Twisted Faith together. Buffing SW:Death is not the play.
At least now it’s better dps than Penance…

I’ve already been using Death over Penance in world PvP so buffing it more is wild. Hopefully we don’t get to next phase and get nerfed to the ground because of the buffs we get now.

you take free action potions and negate kelris chains, the dispel is literally a non issue, its purely throughput and efficiency lol. Other heals can match the healing but would oom.

Next phase, Vamp Embrace will heal you off of the damage you deal.

yeah but we’re still taking… 80% of the damage from SWD on average, sure it’ll offset it somewhat but vamp embrace is more like a bandaid on what’ll turn into a gaping wound if SWD does a significant amount of our hp every time it’s cast
As a healer main, we don’t care. I’d rather you do turbo DPS than sit there and think about hurting my feelings. Just kill the dragon.
I thought SWD was already really strong in PvP so it being 100% more damage base is crazy strong. If they made it give mana back and do less damage and pet my dog, Priests would be nerfed into the ground.
There is no reason for paladins to use much other than Divine storm for its slot. Please nerf divine storm.

like, double damage on swd wont fix our damage issues, our mana issues, and now increases our suriviability issues quite a bit in raid circumstances, where aoe damage will be coming out regularly and we might actually have to not hit a dps ability to not risk killing ourselves, something no other class has to worry about.
we’re going to be siphoning healer mana for paltry dps in raids, that’s not great

I think we will remain bad until the next bracket and that’s okay. Shadow Priest is missing ~55% damage from talents and I don’t want them to overbuff for this because we are basically “unplayable” without those talents. Imagine buffing now when we are the worst we can be and then next phase they overnerf us and we’re just turbo weak because of this phase. I’d rather them turn away, don’t look at it right now and let us be strong next phase and onwards when we have our tools. They’re going to give us so many buffs for us to be playable now and then we’re going to hit next phase and no DPS will be even close to competing with us. Even now with this buff, I think Spriest is going to be the most insane class and people just don’t see it yet.
