Add the naga race to the horde

Ogres

too true

so you want to be a naga or an ogre

Nagas for the Alliance actually

No, Centaurs for both factions!

And yes, the big, draft horse version.

Warcraft 3

Garithos: Go fight them.
Blood Elves: We’ll die!
Garithos: Did I stutter?
Naga: Hey want some help?
Blood Elves: If we accept your help they’ll kill us.
Naga: If you don’t you’ll die don’t.
Blood Elves:…You got us there, alright.
Naga: Cool.
ā€˜Naga Helps defeat the Blood Elves beat the Alliance Enemies.’
Garithos: You teamed up with the Naga! TO JAIL WITH YOU!
Blood Elves: But we would have died without-
Garithos: TO JAIL!
ā€˜Later’
Garithos: Lol we gonna execute you.
Blood Elves: Come on man.
Naga: Whose ready for A JAIL BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAK?
Blood Elves: We do.
Naga: Alright, lets do it!
ā€˜They save the Blood Elves.’

Now given this lore, what part of ā€˜Naga would join the Alliance, not the Horde.’ makes sense to you?

ONE faction of nagas helped the blood elves before they joined the Horde years ago on the orders of Illidan and as of Legion still work with an order of both night and blood elves.
Nowadays nagas in general have even more in common with void elves, who are both blood elves and touched by the void.

Now this in no way solid evidence, it’s old TTRPG lore and therefore non-canon, but it can still offer some insight into how nagas were originally intended to be: ā€œThe races of the Horde are met with derisiveness from the naga; they would have no part of the Horde even if invited to join.[…]The naga consider the Horde to be nothing more than barbaric, weak-minded fools. They would sooner accept the night elves as masters than join the Horde.ā€

And for a purely personal and superficial opinion, I don’t really see their imperial grandeur being super into the tribal, mud hut thing the Horde has got going.

The Horde is FAR more likely to welcome them amongst them given Tyrande, or do I need to remind you how she responded to the Nightbourne trying to join the Alliance.

Not to mention all it takes is a renegade group (Not unlike the ones in the Illidari.) who are just done with Azshara’s shenanigans to join The Horde (Or the Alliance…I guess.) instead.

Need arms and legs to be eligible for a race slot.

If they make naga playable then we need Furblogs and Gnolls

Naga for the Horde.
Void Naga for the Alliance.

Soon there will be Dwarves for the Horde, next to female humans, modified night elves, and the Worgen reskin. It’s pretty safe to assume that they don’t intend to release more races that are bound to just one faction. Whatever comes out next will most likely be available for both factions, even if there are already multiple color variants within one faction. So yeah, say hello to Dwarves 3.0 and propably soon to other cheap copy&paste clones.

but you can be the all powerful naga

Your pants don’t show. You’re your own mount. Worgen have a similar ability so it’s not unprecedented.

There. Now we can have the weird cat people from Uldum (Horde), the four-legged fauns/satyrs (Alliance), and the four-legged Dracthyr too.

Dracthyr proves this is a non issue. Just add Scaly Highborne Nelfs as a Visage form and Naga Battleforms.

Or just have them coil up for sitting down.

what if they can change like druids

How are they going to wear pants? How on azeroth will they be able to have a belt stay on? Boots? what? tie the laces together and wear the around your neck? Might as well wear the belt there too, I suppose.

3 thumbs down.

they can change lower body like druids change into a bear

… I’ll allow this. But only because I am a devote monster girl lover.

Like a centaur? I’m thinking nokhud.
