They are adding JOYOUS JOURNEY buff to MOP april 21, they can add it to TBC a week or two after new phase launches.
The main thing they should add is S1 gear for honor and not just underpriced arena points. People could farm offspec gear, and can play different specs. It’s a no brainer. When they added in in S3 it made no sense. The gear was so outdated by then. They added reputation gear (for the first time ever) S1 so I could imagine they are capable of adding S1 arena for honor.
Joyous Journey does not belong in Classic World of Warcraft, regardless of expansion. Bad decisions and mistakes are not an excuse to continue to make changes the Real Classic Playerbase does not want. Character Leveling Boosts for Gold needs to simply be banned. Along with Blizzard Microtransaction like, Character Boosts, Server Transfers, Name Changes, Deluxe and Epic packages, all should not exist in Classic World of Warcraft
Making PvP gear easier to obtain seems like a positive change that could help Arena and PvP participation, which is a good thing.
With that said Arena Carries for Gold should be banned.
Anyone that isn’t regularly 2k+ rated will have a tough time sloshing through the innumerable amount of paid carries by duelist/glad players. This isn’t competition when there are so many where they aren’t supposed to be.
Earn your rating. Make gear equal. If you aren’t good enough to beat players in the same gear as you, your gear wasn’t “earned”.
If (thats a big if) they follow traditions s1 gear will be able to be bought with just arena points (at a lower price), no rating attached. On this accelerated server i wouldn’t be opposed to it going on the honor vendor.
This is my reasoning behind it. Imagine how many ppl can jump in the TBC that missed S1 or anyone who wants to reroll, you can just level up farm honor arena s1 gear and be good to go.
